To the Esteemed Members of UNESCO, and Fellow Members of the Omaha Jelly of the Month Club,

My esteemed colleagues hereby present to you, our learned and fellow jelly enthusiasts, an audio transcription of the document contained in Natt Brus’ memoirs, comprising approximately 6/17 of Appendix A. To put an end to all the speculation roiling up in this time of paradigm-shattering discovery, I must say directly that this is indeed a true copy of Natt Brus’s Epistle to the Marfians. Indeed, those who were left to maintain the true teachings of the Sacred Order of Zoraostrian Gyrations in the areas of Marfa and Sierra Blanco, Texas, and Rock Springs and Mhoon Landing, Mississippi have long held that their copy of this document is indeed a letter from the fugitive Natt Brus, and that it discloses to them the penultimate mystery of Monomentality- that is to say, the doctrine called “Chemtrail Heaven”. I must disclose to this august panel of enlightened lovers of gelatinous fruit-based condiments that my very own father- Jaques Santo Patricio Krank VIII -during his time among the Earth Men, was a member of the Marfian remnant and missionary to the Polymentals. However, my colleagues and I have submitted a summary of my claims for blind review and critical analysis by scholars appointed by the Billings Gun and Knife Club and the Amateur Ostrich Research Society of Western Louisville. We have passed with flying colors.

Writing to the Marfians, about the state of Monomentality and the ultimate destination Chemtrail Heaven, Brus writes that when the “final pennywhistle cries, in einem Augenblick, ye shall be transmogrified.”  Of course, as is well known from the now authenticated but previously disputed transcript, Brus then spent dozens of pages exhorting his disciples to never forget the true power of funk, face-melting solos, and mixes that feature the drums. Also included were two obscure exhortations concerning the handling of various food items, passages I cannot fully decipher for the uninitiated without penalty of “Ultimate Castigation.” (Which I cannot describe, or else I will endure “Double Ultimate Castigation.”) First, Brus writes that when handling the “bulbous melons” belonging to a female companion, one must squeeze them- one with each hand- gently, “at least in the beginning.” Second, Brus writes that a truly desirable female friend will bring only the most choice pieces of bread, or “buns,” to her male friends- buns that are firm and well-formed in the hand but pliable under the pressure of a gentle squeezing. Though I sincerely wish that I could share the meaning of these two fundamental principles, I am limited to telling you that, thanks to Natt Brus, we have known the only realm of heaven higher than Chemtrail Heaven. The journey, as they say, begins here.

Post Script: Please note that this track is the result of Nic channelling the spirit of Natt Brus and delivering the sermon with guitar tones, Vice Commandant Dubois playing electric and slide guitars, Monkey Blood Lowdown making percussive sounds on a drums set and playing the electric guitar and bass guitar and mixing the whole mess into a coherent whole, and myself adding an unhealthy but habitual ration of guitar wankery. And remember, Cincinnati, we love you, but your skyline chili is garbage. And that’s something only a true friend would tell you.
