Jafunk, the music producer and DJ from Australia now based in Berlin is known for his funky & soulful music. His remix of Set Mo's 'Chasing Forever' put him on the map with over 4 million streams on Spotify, and he has followed up with a host of singles receiving millions of streams.

His music has garnered international radio play on stations such as BBC Radio 1 UK, Radio FG France and Triple J Australia, and has been featured on tastemaker channels such as Majestic Casual, The Sound You Need, and Selected. In 2019 - pre Covid - Jafunk played shows in the UK, Germany, France, Japan and Australia.

"Really looking forward to The Disco Express event in London at Prince of Wales in November. Very happy to be part of this great line up for the party.

To celebrate and look forward to the good times ahead, I recorded this mix to give you a taste of what’s to come on the night. 

It features a load of tunes which have been really doing it for me over the summer months. Some unreleased, some new, some old, some new versions of old etc all thrown into the mix. Energy wise the focus was on what I imagine would be the soundtrack at The Disco Express.

His sound is inspired by 90's and early 2000s dance music from Italy and France. Made using live keys, guitar and percussion, Brother Julian's Energia Del Sol EP is high in energy, doused in Summery, sun-kissed themes.

Beavs is an exciting upcoming Bristol-based selector renowned for her deep soulful collection. French house mainstay Larry Houl is back aboard The Disco Express, this time collaborating on a new project with fellow Nu-Disco artist Dave Kurtis.

Known for his signature charisma and a voice reminiscent of Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, Parisian Larry Houl has been shaping the scene for nearly a decade. As both a composer and singer, his work spans personal projects and collaborations with top-tier artists like Demuja, Jean Tonique, Oden & Fatzo, and Georges.

Now, he’s back with two electrifying releases alongside Dave Kurtis. Together, they present an original three track EP, amorously named 'Music Is For Lovers'.

When Dave Kurtis (Tropical Disco, Spa In Disco, and Tasty Recordings) crafted a funky groove that needed the perfect vocal touch, the collaboration with Larry Houl was a natural fit. The result? 'Just A Little Bit of You', a track that blends the soulful energy of Jamiroquai with the sleek, futuristic edge of Daft Punk—featuring infectious guitar riffs, a groovy bass line, and captivating vocals.

Kurtis also delivers ‘Stomp,’ a full-throttle disco anthem built to set dance floors ablaze. With a classic off-bassline, irresistible groove, and vintage vibes, it’s a straight-up Studio 54 throwback—an essential for any DJ’s crate.
