Leading the EP is “We Are One”, a euphoric call for unity on the dancefloor. Powered by soaring trumpets, an infectious vocal hook and a driving rhythm section, it's Nu Disco gold destined for peak-time dance moments.

Title track “Château d’Amour” follows—a rolling nu disco jam dripping in class, where choppy guitars and a deep, sensual bassline pay tribute to the indulgent, hedonistic spirit of 70s club culture. “Château d’Amour, the place to be / Château d’Amour, just you and me” echoes through a mist of love, sweat and late-night euphoria.

Next up, “20 Buck Funk” is a cheeky, ultra-funky nod to Chuck Brown and James Brown. Featuring a standout rap from Relaye (who previously appeared on Hot by La Felix), the track bounces with playful energy, digging into the frustration of being owed money in the funkiest way possible.

Rounding off the EP is “Lower South Shuffle”, a left-turn into downtempo territory. Inspired by the likes of Alt-J and Gorillaz, this indie-electronic groover showcases Bustin’ Loose’s range as a producer, blending dreamy atmospheres with low-slung rhythms.

Based in Paris, Bayside and Felmann are two producers whose shared passion for groove-driven dance music has evolved into a creative partnership that’s as natural as it is explosive. The pair first met two and a half years ago, and after countless hours of digging, mixing, and exchanging ideas, they began producing together a year and a half later.

Felmann has been producing music for eight years, developing a signature style without formal training or instruments — just a finely tuned ear and a deep love for the dancefloor. His track released on No Gimmicks has amassed over 500,000 streams, and his recent disco-funk-house EP on Humans Alike has been championed by Dombresky.

On stage, he’s a familiar face in Paris clubs like Virage, T7, and Badaboum, and has opened for acts including Feder, Synapson, and Demon.

Tatiana is an East-London based DJ, audio producer, and music journalist.

Having lived in Moscow and Paris, Tatiana’s sound has a global influence, moving smoothly between nu-disco, jazz-tinged house, French disco-pop, and soulful dance, all underpinned by funky basslines to keep you moving on the dancefloor. She has played the likes of El Dorado Festival, E1 and Grow Hackney, rapidly making a name for herself on the East London disco scene.

With a background in radio working as an in- house producer for Hoxton Radio, as well as hosting her own show, Tatiana has gone on to become one of the station’s resident DJs. As a journalist, she’s interviewed big names like Folamour, Max Cooper, and Habibi Funk.

French house mainstay Larry Houl is back aboard The Disco Express, this time collaborating on a new project with fellow Nu-Disco artist Dave Kurtis.

Known for his signature charisma and a voice reminiscent of Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, Parisian Larry Houl has been shaping the scene for nearly a decade. As both a composer and singer, his work spans personal projects and collaborations with top-tier artists like Demuja, Jean Tonique, Oden & Fatzo, and Georges.

Now, he’s back with two electrifying releases alongside Dave Kurtis. Together, they present an original three track EP, amorously named 'Music Is For Lovers'.

When Dave Kurtis (Tropical Disco, Spa In Disco, and Tasty Recordings) crafted a funky groove that needed the perfect vocal touch, the collaboration with Larry Houl was a natural fit. The result? 'Just A Little Bit of You', a track that blends the soulful energy of Jamiroquai with the sleek, futuristic edge of Daft Punk—featuring infectious guitar riffs, a groovy bass line, and captivating vocals.

Having just signed The Disco Express, Dirty Supercar are primed for lift-off. Their self-funded early work on Chamois Music quickly caught attention, with more recent releases earning heavy industry support-including Kiss FM Ibiza's 'Tune of the Month' from Mark Knight on Toolroom.

Their music is now backed by an impressive cast of tastemakers including Horse Meat Disco, Maceo Plex, Riva Starr, Dimitri from Paris, Hatiras, and Jon Pleased Wimmin, with cuts landing on Midnight Riot, Toolroom, and Against The Grain.

Recent radio support from BBC Radio, RTE FM, and Kiss FM has further ignited their rise. Their sound lives in a sweet spot between jackin' house and disco, drawing inspiration from Giorgio Moroder, Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden, Junior Jack, Roulé Records, and the unmistakable glow of the '70s disco era they were raised on.

This is music made to move you-from the rear-view mirror of disco's golden age to the fast lane of tomorrow.

Regarded as one of London’s “leading disco labels”, The Disco Express first began as a monthly loft party in March 2017; hosting the globe’s biggest house & disco DJs at the former 1940's Shoreditch railway station.

Evolving into a full-fledged record label and event series in 2020, The Disco Express is now a revered platform for nu-disco and soulful dance music. Working with the scene’s most talented up-and-coming artists, DJs and remixers, the label has established a global fanbase, distributing vinyl, merch, and music to over 50 countries worldwide. 

Consistent high quality releases and edits have garnered support from the likes of Nightmares On Wax, Purple Disco Machine, The Blessed Madonna, Crazy P, TSHA, Folamour, Dan Shake, Groove Armada, Sarah Story (Radio 1) and Basement Jaxx. 

Holding down residencies in London, Berlin, Paris, Mexico City and NYC, The Disco Express also plays host to events further afield in Bristol, Milan, Rome, Copenhagen and more.. 

Celebrating their 50th release as a label in May 2023, The Disco Express endeavour to support new underground artists from across the globe as well as working with legends of the dance music scene Barbara Tucker, John Morales, Michael Gray, Michelle Weeks, Art of Tones and most recently Dave Lee.
