An 18 year old aspiring House & Disco DJ from Cornwall, Charlie Price approached us with the dream of one day emulating the likes of Sam Divine, The Shapeshifters and Simon Dunmore.

Over lockdown 2020-2021 Charlie built a cult following through his live streams on Twitch. Since then he's started to turn heads from some leading names in the dance music scene, most notably Defected. 

This coming year, Charlie plans to take his chance to play in clubs over the UK and release feel good party music. "Stay Tuned and I hope you enjoy my mix. Big up The Disco Express Crew!! Massive Love!" - he exclaims.

Napalise nu-disco producer Noil Rago follows up his “Unusual Disco EP” on Hot Digits Music with another salvo of funky deep burners. “Dope & Dope” kicks things off with some warm mid-tempo house/funk with lashings of rhodes, tinkling chords and mysterious breathing vocals shots before we jump into heads down territory with “Disco Raydio” which is a Bass thumping stomper, no messing! “Beat & Beat” ups the tempo for a retro synth filled nu-disco groover that’s prime gear for those peak time shape throwing before ending the EP with “Jimme & Jack” which is pure deep house indulgence with Noil’s trademark echoing vocal shots and razor sharp underground beats. Label boss Fingerman’s Dope & Dreams Re-Edit of the title track completes the EP with the Belfast editor injecting some heavy funk beats to the original vibe of the original for the perfect party starter.

We are more than happy to welcome back Ushuaia's finest: 'Alexny' to our EP series with another four world wide vibrant tunes. Our first trip heads to the more latin inspired vibe of the world with 'Cahuita' and its metallic rhythm section, while 'Mulher' takes us even souther to Brazil with its sunny guitar riffs and exotic Portuguese vocals. On the other side 'Jabba's Palace' takes the name of the EP bringing us to a more sandy bizarre vibe with bulky baselines as well as 'Sazima' which lands is on the side of Turkey with a more traditional sampling technique.

Regarded as one of London’s “leading disco labels”, The Disco Express first began as a monthly loft party in March 2017; hosting the globe’s biggest house & disco DJs at the former 1940's Shoreditch railway station.

Evolving into a full-fledged record label and event series in 2020, The Disco Express is now a revered platform for nu-disco and soulful dance music. Working with the scene’s most talented up-and-coming artists, DJs and remixers, the label has established a global fanbase, distributing vinyl, merch, and music to over 50 countries worldwide.
