I was delighted to be invited to be Lone Soldier's guest in the 'D3ep Lounge', on the mighty D3ep Radio Network.  Paul and I share a very similar vibe of deepness ... and so here is the re-load of Tuesday night's show.  I take the controls for the first hour, mixing up some of my favourite tracks, both old and new ... and Paul mixes up a selection of tracks from 2018, in the second hour.

Big love to Paul for having me as his guest and giving me the opportunity to mix alongside him.  I'm sure this is the first of many collaborations.  Enjoy the ride ... ♥️

The D3EP Lounge "Session 53" Special Guest Mix "Funky Foot"

The series has hit a milestone of 30 mixes with the latest addition to the Selected Timbres family. Specializing in a multitude of styles and genres, Duktus has continuously taken up space on my record shelf and hard drive. With releases on some amazing labels including BlaqNumbers and OutRun Records, I was super grateful and excited to get him on the series. 

With this mix he showcased his deep house side of his moniker as we take an audial journey to Leipzig. You'll be treated to a vinyl only mix today with the first half showcasing some of Leipzig's finest. And I think that's pretty cool. :)

You may also notice two new friends who have joined Duktus in the cover photo of this mix. My new friends were crafted and gifted to me by Duktus himself, and it really showed me what a genuine guy he was. The excitement I sensed from him when I asked to be on the series was reassurance, albeit unneccessary, that he was the right man for this milestone mix.

Ben Gomori has long been on the Le Visiteur radar, having previously shared remixes and edits of his across the years. A true underground head Ben's soundcloud is a go to for me when looking for quality music from his own output to his long running Turned On show, live sets and more if you are looking for a musical treat make sure you check it out.

Ben has just released a real summer 2024 track 'Get Off Your Phone!' which features an impassioned plea by US production and vocal legend Kevin Aviance, beseeching clubbers to get off their phones and embrace the moment. It's a plea that anyone who saw clubland before the advent of the instagram crowd can fully get behind.

To celebrate the release of the track via the brilliant Faith label Ben has put together a pretty incredible mix for us which is fully themed around phone related tracks and features stone absolute classics from Lil Louis, Låpsley, Madonnaer, Green Velvet and many more.
