Okan is of Turkish heritage and grew up in Cologne Germany where he is located to this day. Growing up Okan was exposed to sounds spanning pop, breaks, dance and hip hop music before being introduced to that 90s house sound emanating out of Detroit, Chicago and New York. His career spans back to the late 90s where he and his friends threw small parties in Germany. You can hear how growing up through this era influenced his sound as he winds through a set with a mixture of classic sounding 90s house and new productions which have that classic feel!

Okan has been a resident on a number of radio outlets including Ibiza Global Radio & Radiodeep. He currently holds a regular 'weekly roundup' series for the crew at Radio Electronica which is a wonderful ride of deep house selections

His Grooveology set includes deep groovers from the likes of Radic The Myth, Intr0beatz, Carlo, Tour-Mabourg & Tucillo as well as a couple of his own productions on 'My Dreams' & 'Conflict'

I went in at a high tempo for this episode, slowed things right down then built it back up - all in the course of 40 minutes. It was a shorter set for me this time, because my guest mix was an hour and 20. Doing the honours this time was Chris Allen AKA Mr Feel Good. His mix is bloody brilliant - a wide ranging trip with influences of disco, house, funk, hip hop, pop, jacking and a whole lot more. Wonderful stuff!
