My nearly 2 hour tribute to one of my absolute musical idols, Twisted Individual! I first heard Twisted's track on a Swanee Helter Skelter tape in 98 and grabbed pretty much everything he made for the next 10 years or so, I was even on the Grid Recordings mailout when I was 18 and played loads of his tunes at my first ever D&B gig in 2000, still got all my Grid white labels! 

Twisted Individual is playing on the same lineup as me at Drum& Bass Classics in London 15th October, cannot wait to see him play again. Enjoy this tribute of my favourite tunes and remixes 1998 to 2008 including some of his dubstep and garage productions...

Proud to say that 27 years ago, i played at this, main arena... One of the most Iconic Rave events of all time... Feel blessed. ❤️🙏. So a few weeks back on #junglesundays i played a TRIBAL GATHERING 1993 set. My set on the night was not recorded so i couldn't totally recreate the set as i dont remember it. LOL... i do remember some tunes i definitely played and i can take pretty good guess at what was in my box around that time... Also i have all the track lists of all tapes from the night... so i have slung a few of them in... ENJOY

Over lockdown I must have listened to every Helter Skelter set ever recorded! I did a series of mixes celebrating 1996 to 1999 but then I went back and listened to the 17th Sep 93 tapes and realised I had so many tunes from these sets. 

I decided to put a set together of JUST tunes from the tapes, there's so much variety whether it was the pianos from the Slipmatt set, the darkness from the Randall set or the weirdness from The Music Maker set...93 was such an exciting year. I hope you enjoy my tribute to this crazy year where the light and the dark clashed and hardcore jungle techno reigned supreme...
