Nik Aka Ghosty is in his 4th year of dentistry at Liverpool Uni. "Ive been playing out for a couple years now and have earned myself residencies for some of Liverpool’s biggest dnb brands including Rum Riddimz Run and 100th Monkey & the DNB LAB. I play a mix of jungle and rollers, drawing inspiration from late 90s jungle tape packs as well as more recent mixes.  I’ve spent a lot of time recently working on @Frontleft_dnb, my new dnb brand that aims to give local up and coming DJs a meaningful platform, where they can hone their craft. This is the first mix I’ve put out since I’ve started mixing so I wanted to include some of my favourite tunes, some of which I don’t usually get a chance to include in my normal sets. The mix includes tunes from some of my favourite labels such as Grid Recordings, Nuusic and Dread Recordings."

Welsh Valleys Born & Bred Shane West a.k.a Highpass has developed a strong passion for the drum and bass genre.

Melding the dynamic pulse of drum and bass with the velvety embrace of atmospheric sounds and enchanting piano melodies, Highpass is currently in the process of crafting a distinctive sonic identity, poised to carve out his own signature sound.

The end of 2021 marked a turning point for Highpass as he secured his first EP signing with DNBB Records. Subsequently, he collaborated with Mr Nitro to create a second EP, which was released on Different Drumz Recordings. Highpass then expanded his discography by releasing on Celsius Recordings and Influenza Media.

Highpass draws inspiration from a diverse array of artists including Alpha rhythm, Etherwood, Polaris, and Hybrid Minds. The best is yet to unfold for this artist. Highpass eagerly anticipates leaving his indelible mark on the captivating realm of drum and bass.
