The latest instalment of our mix series comes from German DJ and Producer Sandrino. The chances are you have heard the name when used in combination with his partner in crime, as Frankey & Sandrino, but Sandrino is also a force as an individual artist, which comes through here. Both, Frankey and Sandrino, have been active with electronic music for well over a decade now. While Franky is a schooled musician who had already released a string of LP's and EP's, Sandrino started his career in 2003 with a residency at Germany's Butan Club. The duo of Frankey and Sandrino soon discovered their shared interest in deep and melodic music and started producing together. It didn't take too long until Four:Twenty Records and Moodmusic picked up their first releases.

About the Release :
Nie Wieder Schlafen returns at the dawn of summer and delivers a breathtaking, organic 5 track EP from their young talent Modulo, who debuted on NWS with his "Energy Patterns" EP, which is still receiving lots of praise to date. With 3 Originals come 2 different versions of the main title track "Find The Truth" by non other than Quatri. Another talent, that delivered a staggering remix together with Sam Goku back in spring.


"The Panacea“ introduces the EP with the last hints of sirens in a hectic city fading over to bird sounds, crickets and an arrangement of beautifully build melodies, that invite you in for a ride with mother nature. Like „Mountain People“ before, it will pull the right strings, to get you in an uplifting and emotional mood.

Title track „Find The Truth“ continues to surprise with subtle and emotional melodies and adds broad pads, lovely flute progressions and hearthwarming sub-grooves, which lay in the center of the production and bring the unique touch to such a worthy title track.

With an exciting evolution through the months, „With The Wind“ has turned into a bliss production, that might be the most surprising inclusion in this package. A crunchy kick blessed with a melodic bassline hook and some wonderful harmonics, could stick in your head for quite a while, even hours after listening in. A production, crafted in such a subtle way, it’s soundwaves quite literally go with the wind.

To complement , but also confront the overall atmosphere of the Originals, our homegrown talent Quatri delievered two alternate versions to „Find The Truth“. His „4AM“ Remix gives a radically different perspective of the flute lead by mixing it into a techno-oriented environment.

His "Nyarai“ remix adds organic rhytm & percussions to Modulo & Manfredt’s melodical craft, giving it a rather fitting tribal spin. As always, please enjoy and have some fun with this EP.

About the Release :
The Cologne/Berlin based duo return to their Superfriends Records home once again for ‘Huso EP’.

Climbing to uncharted heights of dance-music popularity, Andhim have been releasing their distinguished style of sample-heavy ‘Super House’ since 2010, reaching the ears of the masses on some of the most celebrated labels around.

My track selections for this one were intended toe the line somewhere between a club gig and a headphones listening mix since there were 100 people on the dance floor but 1000's of people listening at home. The second Figuratives. EP has arrived. The talented duo Dast & Dylan brings you their 'Jejune EP'. The EP includes three tracks that are all unique, yet they fit together perfectly.

Sven and Sven (@dastdylan) are two very creative producers from the Netherlands. They bring together recognizable melodies with deep, warm basslines and intense beats. This EP starts of with 'Sonder', a beautiful track that immediately puts you in the right mood. 'Thrift' gives you the perfect amount of energy to lead you to the last track: 'Jejune'. This last track is the ultimate climax and ensures a satisfied feeling.
