'We Are The Noise' is the new single from British band The Dowling Poole.

The song is absolutely FREE, no strings attached!

The song was recorded in multiple locations during lockdown and features long-time collaborator and Sugar Plum Fairies/Jackdaw 4/The Dowling Poole band member, Andy Lewis playing bass. 

Guest drummer on ‘We Are The Noise’ is the extraordinary Darby Todd, who has played with countless artists including Kee Marcello, Gary Moore and The Darkness - and some of you may remember Darby from his days playing with Willie and Andy in Sugar Plum Fairies. 

"'We Are The Noise' is a comment on the hysteria that surrounds and consumes us all via social media, and the seemingly endless sensationalist news", says Willie Dowling. 

"The song draws attention to the paradoxical nature of many of us commenting on ‘the noise’ and thereby becoming a part of it. Everybody’s broadcasting but nobody’s listening. And of course to add further irony, this song is making it’s own particular contribution to ‘the noise’. Anyway, it was really great to play with Darby and Andy again after so many years, albeit remotely.”

Det er 'new normal', at portene til de danske stadions er lukket, og på den måde er intet som det plejede at være, selvom bolden triller videre. 

I denne udgave af Mediano Fan tager vi favntag med oplevelsen af at være fast stadiongænger i en verden, hvor man ikke kan komme ind. For hvad er det egentlig vi kommer for, når vi tager på stadion? Hvad mangler vi helt konkret, når kampen overværes i TV? Hvorfor er fællesskabet anderledes på en bar? Hvorfor er især udebaneturene savnet? Og hvad kan konsekvenserne af fodbold uden fans blive på lidt længere sig?

Det er nogle af de spørgsmål og problemstillinger der bliver taget op af Kristian Hertz og Claus Bjørn Billehøj. De er henholdsvis FCK- og Brøndby-fan, men har - især for tiden - langt mere til fælles end de har med deres naboer.

Claus og Kristian kan naturligvis kun tale på egne vegne og give deres helt subjektive syn på, hvordan de oplever, at livet som fan er forandret.

Udsendelsen kommer også omkring klubberne og fanfraktionernes sammenhold i kampen for at få fans tilbage på stadion. 

Der er med andre ord masser af emner og ikke mindst følelser at tage fat på i denne udgave af Mediano Fan.

Two brothers versus the machines. Clusters of Eyes debuted at Smugglers Festival 2018 and have since been inhabiting coastal Kent’s subterranean network of tunnels, honing their set of gritty electronica and robot-rock.

This latest track features guest vocals from Troy of punk/hardcore band The Long Knives.

Imagery of a dystopian post-Covid, post-Brexit landscape is set to an irrepressible groove - inspired in equal parts by The Fall’s ‘Blindness’ and Death In Vegas’ ‘Aisha’.
