Westwood Recordings is proud to present “We’re All Desi” - the latest studio album from Delhi 2 Dublin. Inspired by their favourite Bollywood records of the 70s and their love of bass music, the acclaimed live electronic act has teamed up with producer Nick Middleton (of The Funk Hunters) to create their strongest offering yet. 

Eschewing the sterility of clinical song writing, “We’re All Desi” was born out of organic jam sessions in D2D’s rehearsal space. But it wasn’t until these ideas entered Middleton’s studio that they truly started to take shape as they found their modern electronic backbone - a unifying component found across the album and the signature of the new D2D sound. 

The result is a mashup of electronic and acoustic. Of East and West. True to the veteran band's origins, and blazing into new lyrical and sonic territory, “We're All Desi” is a battle call for a quickening world - more truth, more smiles... and a lot more bass.

Neve is back to The Dreamers! He’s the man behind this label, responsible for A+R,  mastering and promotion of the music you hear, in synergy with all The Dreamers Crew. In the last year, after the acclaimed “Magic Flute” and his single on The Dreamers, Neve released various collaborations on labels such as Shogun Audio, The Dreamers and Delta9.
With this new release Neve defines again his trademark sound, with influences from 90s music, house, jungle and warm analog frequencies, projected in futuristic sonic spaces. The title “The Message” has a deep meaning for Neve: in his own words “the music is one of the main communication media, and on this EP I decided to explore the harmonies and mellow sounds because I want to send a positive hopeful message, with a good vibration”. His work really reflects the vibe of The Dreamers renowned parties and in this EP it is possible to find 4 tracks, each one with his own characteristics that can work both on the radio and on the dancefloor. The EP starts with “Oak City” a dreamy halfstep deep bass track where the main sound is generated by an 808. “Everytime” is a melodic roller made in collaboration with Wild Hits and Norah B. “Reanimate” has some experimental drums and hard basses but it keeps the colourful melodic sound of the EP. “The Message” is the last track of the EP and encloses in its piano riff all the emotions that Neve wants to express. 
NEVE BIO:
Neve aka Andrea Recla is a dj, producer and sound engineer born and raised in Rovereto, in the Italian region of Trentino Alto Adige. Surrounded by music ever since he can recall, he started playing guitar for locals bands at the age of 15 but it wasn’t long until he fell in love with drum and bass. In the last 13 years he performed in many clubs, festivals and parties in Italy and abroad.
Neve spent 4 years in the city of Turin, setting up drum and bass events with The Dreamers, one of the most long-standing crews in Italy dedicated to this genre. Even tough he moved back home now, he’s still very connected to this city and keeps on being part of the management.
In 2016, with the support of all the member of the crew, he created The Dreamers Recordings. Providing high quality ground breaking music and supporting Italian newcomer producers was -and still is- the goal of the label, which immediately received the appreciation of international top djs and press.
This year Neve won the Redbull Culture Clash of Milan, with the ‘Hellmuzik’ team, playing in the first round.
Years of experience as a dj made Neve’s sound a patchwork of styles and genres. Old school and new school blend in, while rolling, footwork, jungle, hip-hop and neurofunk mix mercilessly. And this variety of sound is reflected in his production:  to make only one ‘type’ of drum and bass is like a musical limit for his open mind.
Currently, his releases appears on labels such as Hospital - Med school, Shogun Audio, Dutty audio, Flexout, Ammunition, Subculture, Automate, Modulate and Bnc Express and have been played on DNBARENA, KMAG and Friction show on BBC Radio 1, receiving support from many top dj’s.

Propelling his technically advanced production style into the 140 BPM spectrum, it's a sight to behold as DJ Youngsta reveals the next ace up his sleeve. The UK-based veteran conveys his awe-inspiring take on Dubstep with four tracks on a twelve-inch platter - vehemently battle-tested as a dubplate and ready to off at a dance floor near you.

We are immersed in dense, granular fog. 'Raising The Dead' begins the ritual with hypnotism and anxious unrest. Eerie lead melodies lure listeners onwards as relentless percussion takes hold. Rigorously increasing the intensity with mesmeric style to the ruthless beat of the drums - fragmented vocals flicker through the mist. As ethereal spheres seem to vacate, a disturbed melody guides a path into the low-frequency behemoth that is 'Nt'. Driven by its intense groove and sonorous sub-bass emissions, the erratic lead staccato does the rest to keep us fiercely bouncing to Icicle's percussive pulse. 


As if it could get any hotter, we flip to a promising B-Side only to be proven wrong twice. Initiating the ceremony with 'Shout Me' - haunting female choirs entrance amidst the thunderous sense of anticipation. Evolving from intricate breaks to straight shut-down maneuvers without skipping a beat. In a final, fulminant outburst, 'Noughties Riddim' goes on to wrap up the masterpiece in a most mischievous fashion. Cutting through the noise, profoundly satisfying mid-range distortion surges flare up in the distance, while continuous pressure continues to evoke cries for rewinds.
