Homeless Mafia are an alt/funk/reggae/punk/rock band based in Sligo in the north west of Ireland. The band consists of Darren Regan (Vocals, Lead Guitar), Conor Browne (Keyboard) and Christopher Regan (Bass). The band first formed in January 2012 as a pub cover band under the name The Vanities, however we realised that we were all a bit too ugly and a bit too humble to deserve such a moniker and considering that the last three venues we had played had since closed down (and we swear it was nothing to do with us) we decided to switch to the name Homeless Mafia. Our sound covers a wide range of whatever the hell the previous night's drinking has produced in our heads and we have such diverse influences as The Smiths, Talking Heads, Jeff Buckley, Alice in Chains, Bad Brains, Elliot Smith, The Low Anthem, My Bloody Valentine, Weezer and of course, Jedward (that last one was a joke just in case the sarcasm was a bit difficult to spot there). We hope you like the chunes and even more so, we hope you come see us live, cos we're actually much prettier in real life than on our facebook profile. 

Miriam Donohue is a songwriter from Galway, now based in Dublin. Her beautiful and charming voice, and an ability to write quirky, catchy folk tunes make for an enchanting live performance. Her songs are blissful, charming compositions with fine lyrics throughout.
Miriam has already supported Martha Wainwright, Nina Pearsons( The Cardigans) Mark Geary, John Spillane, Jack L, and Canadian singer Rose Cousins.

In 2013 Miriam was featured on TG4 music show Ceol ar an Imeall as an upcoming Irish musician to watch, and chosen by the John Murray show on RTE Radio 1 to play at MetroHerald stage in Castlepalooza. This year she was selected to play in this years Ones To Watch Festival 2014 in Whelans and was featured in the top 5 upcoming Irish acts in the Hotpress Big Break Competition
