"On the first date with my partner they kept telling me about how they wished they could visit “home”. For them home was Phoenix, Arizona. I thought was deeply moving since they had been living in Chicago for 5 years at that point, yet still saw Arizona as “home”. It got me thinking about what “home” truly is and what it meant to me.
