The Drone Machine Project - The Core [live]

Established but a few months ago, NOiR FIDELITY is an emerging record label clearly intent on showing they mean business from the off, with their latest release, the emphatic Shuriken Kuts, very much indicative of the fact. Helmed by Errikos Stamatakis, the label boasts an agenda that leans toward upfront, banging techno, with no less than 8 tracks making up this latest V/A release.

Entitled Shuriken Kuts, the release get off to a flyer courtesy of Michailo’s ‘I Want To Say’. A truly unrelenting prospect, it lets us know from the get-go that we’re all set for a barmy rollercoaster of a ride. A fierce and determined-sounding track, this one - much like the majority of the release - really does go hard in search of its kicks. Monica M’s ‘Don’t You Ever Go Home’ is a clever DJ tool that starts off on a relatively innocuous manner before it unfurls into something entirely different. Kobzev’s moody sounding ‘Delusion Factor’ has peak-time Berghain written all over it, before Berlin live act Der Kosmonaut enters the fray courtesy of ‘Siren’, a white-noise riddled track of truly epic proportions.

The second half of the release kicks off with Null Ohm’s ’313’, a high BPM track that’s best suited to braver DJs. Veteran producer Elbee Bad is arguably the release’s star turn, and he doesn’t let the side down courtesy of his contribution, the magnificent ’Twanging’. A deep and dexterous production, it’s polished tones and clever acid lines mark it out as a real cut of distinction. The MentΩr then goes all cinematic on his track, ‘Pagan’, before matters come to a halt thanks to the culminating track, Erico Falcone’s ‘BPD’. By a distance the record’s most restrained track, it’s an enjoyable foil to a release that’s never lacking in up-tempo vibes.

Fulmen Slow 03: Erico Falcone

Erico Falcone has been born in Greece and lived, raised and studied there till his base become the city of Berlin in Germany.
Till now Erico Falcone has played in several situations, from private events, bars, clubs to festivals, social organisations and artistic events.
To name few of them is the festival of “plötzlich am Meer” festival in Poland, clubs like Magdalena(Berlin), Keller(Berlin), Zmf(Berlin), Loftus Hall, Brunnen70,Mein Haus Am See, Humbolthain, Promenaden Eck, Anita Berber, Cake -bar, Veto(Ibiza), Nafpigio(Crete), UK,Tacheles Berlin, and more even at Messe Berlin. 
Erico Falcone has shared decks with Sebastien Leger, the prince of dance: Elbee Bad, Franz Scala, Der Kosmonaut, Rene Schier, Le Trip, Vinilette, Caio Haar, Lee Williams, Slotmachine and more. 
After some years of practice and learning, he has been producing over 400 pieces of sound, noise and music covering all the spectrum of musical areas focusing mostly on a “tape” form of sound with frequencies lower than 16000 Hz most of the times creating a nostalgic, bluesy, noir sound with idm rhythmical patterns and noises covering the deepest state of mind.
Loudness is not the matter for Erico Falcone and tempo is a musical part of the story, dancing and harmonising the rhythmical and cinematic senses of the sound.
Noir Fidelity and the drone machine project is the other two important aliases of Erico Falcone escaping of the nowadays reality of electronic music.
At the moment you can find him studying at SAE Institute the art and science of Sound focusing his mind deeper to the sound and creating curiosity for a new and different approach to his music. 
It is very interesting to watch and follow this progress. 
Until now, Erico Falcone has over 400 sound and musical pieces under his belt to be released under eclectic record and tape labels but also digitally on his band camp and selective labels. 
But the journey doesn’t stop here, as Erico is collaborating with various artists as Elbee Bad, Endov Lane for the music and videos with Thomas Qn following artistic projects and performing live for the Lick&Listen project in Berlin as well. Don’t forget to mention his friends who have created together the “touch of polyphony” more for that on all social media: search it.
