if u aint driftin right....then u got nothing left

what started out as a joke, became an addiction. someone on youtube kept on asking for a eurobeat version of FALL, and eventually the whole discord wanted it. Luckily Jimorrow came to save the day with his equally awesome eurobeat version around march, but alas I was cooking up something of my own huehuehue.

I knew this obsession for the drift would slowly consume me, I kept on dreaming about sharp turns, toyota sprinters, manual stick shift, speed and burning passion. I started to have ghost sensations in my hand, where I thought I was holding the stick and the wheel, I knew if I hadn't created this version, I would lose the internal race within me. So I contacted the one man I knew would be perfect, Jawny Sparklez of the Sparklez Squad. The man is a prodigal son of 80s Rock, and he delivered in speed...I mean spades, and the rest is history.

I am now sober from the drifting needs, but everynow and then the urges come back, anyway, here is wonderwall

Paul Massey, based in Sheffield, UK, is the creative force behind “the DustRoom,” a name synonymous with his diverse pursuits in music, motorcycles, and visual media.

Owner of 3studio, a prominent Sheffield film and TV studio, Paul has worked on post-production for various TV programmes and films. His musical journey began in 1994, experimenting with analogue gear and later DJing on the now defunct Freakin internet radio station.

In 2024, Paul revived his musical passion, drawing from pandemic jam sessions to create a fresh sound as “the DustRoom.” His music has been featured on over 2,500 playlists and has surpassed 125,000 streams on Spotify.
