Colorado based DVS NME debuts on Tiger Weeds with a solo EP, delivering his signature sound with four straightforward Electro cuts.

DVS NME is an Electro music producer/dj and Post-Punk enthusiast who has been producing music since 2000. He has collaborated with the likes of Franck Kartell, Das Muster, MetaComplex, Koova, Faceless Mind, Komarken Electronics, Deemphasis, and more. 

DVS NME also runs a daily blog called Dark Science Electro which features news, live sets, guest mixes, upcoming shows and throwbacks.

Limited 300 copies of 10" vinyl 110grams with full print sleeve.

Ambient / idm duo Ab ovo started creating music in 1991. Only in 1996 they put out their first album “Panorama 94-96”. It was only in 2004 with the release of the album “Les Temps Suspendu…” I came across their work. From there on their music stuck with me ever since.  “Mouvements”, the last album until now was released in 2007 and then it became silent. Solo works by the musicians appeared but no new Ab ovo works saw the light.

All six Ab ovo albums were only released on CD. This in combination with the silence ever since 2007 made me contact the musicians. I proposed a 2LP retrospective covering all six albums… which they accepted. Together with the musicians I made a selection and a running order. We did this carefully and with the intention of creating a true album instead of “just” a compilation.

For the artwork I selected photographs of geodesic domes. This as these shapes combine the natural and the technological which is in line with the music of Ab ovo which sounds both organic and electronic.

I would like to call Ab ovo masters of moods and structures as this is what their music communicates to me…. colors and shapes… “Le temps retrouvé (1994-2007)” surpassed all my expectations  and intentions for this record when I first imagined it. It is just as perfect as either a retrospective of the work of Ab ovo , or as a tribute to the band or as an introduction to this music for those who do not know yet… at least I think so…

Copenhagen-born artist In Atlas seamlessly weaves together electronically driven synthpop and darkwave, imbued with a dark disco sensibility. In Atlas pushes the boundaries, keeping this otherwise nostalgic sound fresh and contemporary. She released her debut album, 'Venus Forever' in 2023 as a tribute to platonic love.
In spring 2024, her second solo album, 'Where The Wildflowers Grow' has been released on Italian independent record label 'She Lost Kontrol.' The album is concerned with emotional liberation, serving as a testament to the strength of emotions and the journey towards embracing one's own highly sensitive nature.
In Atlas is an explosive performer and her sets are often tailored for the occasion.
She is also part of the Greek/Danish electronic post-punk outfit 'V.V.I.A.,' which has attracted attention in the Athenian underground scene in recent years and has released tracks on labels such as Women of V.V.I.A., Meta Moto, Phormix, and Vinylopgraph.

Lukas Akata is the co-founder of Frankfurt based collective and event series "Project Operator".

Over the years, Lukas Akata has fine-tuned his own individual DJ style, which is a blend of bass-heavy Electro, Breakbeat and Acid featuring subtile EBM influences. Dutch westcoast and Detroit inspiration breathe raw energy into his sets. Each performance is a journey along the darker, more intense side of electronic music, featuring dark basslines, retro synths and driving percussions.

In addition to his DJ performances, Akata is also a prolific music producer. He works intensively with hardware synthesizers in his studio to create his unique sound. His EP "Pressure Zone" is a standout example of his creative work, mainly falling into the IDM, Breakbeat, and Electro genres. More productions are planned for later this year.

As the co-founder of Project Operator since its launch in 2018, Akata has been keen to challenge musical status quos within Frankfurt. This event series happens every few months and is a paradise for lovers of underground electronic music. Through the careful crossovers of line-ups, his selections always keep genre boundaries unscathed, putting quality and innovation into the front row, catering to an open-minded audience.
