Tim Byrd is a music producer, composer & sound designer from Newport News, VA. He’s worked with major & independent artists & labels.

His music has appeared on network channels such as “MTV” (MTV Jams, MTV Cribs & Catfish), “VH1” (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and Black Ink Crew New York), “The ID Channel” (Ice Cold Killers), and “Lifetime” (Wife Swap). He has also scored a few independent films along with having his music placed in movies like, “Exit Wounds” 2001 (Steven Seagal and DMX) and “Living Will” 2010 (Ryan Dunn).

He has also worked with Grammy Award Winning Producers such as Nottz, Timbaland & Ski Beatz.

Currently he's working on new music for Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime.

I write, produce, record and mix everything I do. Been doing music for well over 10 years now. Spent a lot of time perfecting my craft and now its time to showcase what I have. My sound is pure Hip Hop. I tried all that radio/commercial type stuff for years. Only to find that it wasn't me. I try to keep the music fresh and original at all times. Lots of people hear my music and ask for my 'expertise' on how to go about things. I look at them like 'I'm just a student bro'...but I'm always willing to share what I've learned over the years. I've been around quite a few notable people, been on both coasts, worked on video sets of big directors and picked up bits and pieces of game from those people. After producing for other people I realized that I will never get the recognition I feel I deserve until I market and promote myself so here I am giving this social media thing a real push now.
