Billy’s primitive Medway beat has seeped into the territory and minds of this pretty new and pretty ugly combo. Also taking a cue from San Francisco’s Coachwhips, Thee MVP’S have laid a Slovenly stomper on us with “Oh Sally”, an ode to leader Charlie Wyatt’s Fender Mustang “Sally,” and written with his rockabilly playing father. True story. The flip here is a tough dancefloor mating ritual known as “Amok Time,” named for the second season premier of the original Star Trek series where Kirk and Spock go toe to toe against each other on planet Vulcan. A solid debut from this rapidly rising Limey garage-punk crew.

Thee MVPs got a little uncomfy with the idea of not having any new material out until the autumn so they decided to soundtrack your summer plans with this short ep done up quickly but also done up right. Two slabs of fuzzed out pop to sate whoever's hankering for more music by them. Additionally the band decided to record two of their favourite songs on the b-side for a laugh too. Tune in, dial it up loud and rowdily relax to ELH +3.

a second wave came down from heaven

and then by the 80's the punk rock scene was going crazy
ain't no rails on this crazy train.

In the early 90's punk rock hit it's peak

in the late 90's it was getting weak

then around 2001 it seemed that punk rock's days were done

because it had been repaced with screamo....
