This album Is a representation of mental health struggles & all the challenges In overcoming them alongside showcases of talent.

THE VOID
This track represents the start of “FOREST IN THE VOID” and plays Into the moody atmosphere while mentioning past events that have led to this project while not directly mentioning them.

ACTING A FOOL
This song represents the feelings of self-hatred felt after doing something ‘foolish’ (As the song suggests). This also marks the first appearance of ‘ERROR’ who represents the conscience and all the ways It tries to bring one down.

SNOWFALL
This Instrumental track represents the feelings of nostalgia and how long It can linger over you (As evidenced by the 6 minute runtime)

ANTHEM OF THE ERROR
This song represents how your conscience (ERROR) can feed off all your negativity and get you complacent with how terrible your conscience wants to make you feel about yourself.

INTERNALISED STRUGGLES
This track being the second longest on the album at 7 minutes, goes into detail about some of EN’s life events & how he feels about them. These are further expanded upon in ‘DURING BROADCASTING HOURS’

THE OTHER SIDE OF ME
The shortest track on the album, running at just over 2 minutes Is an Internalised acknowledgement of EN’s talents by his conscience as referenced In the title & how he doesn’t want to just be perceived as a negative presence.

PUMP IT UP!
This track, while being one of the most upbeat sounding on the album, Is a representation of not only EN’s social & confident side but also his more morbid side. This internalised conflict is later reflected on in ‘DURING BROADCASTING HOURS’

OFF THE RAIL
This track marks the final appearance of ‘ERROR’, Placing EN’ & ERROR in a room together with ERROR having good intentions, which eventually sets EN’ off because of a combination of suspicion about these now good Intentions & the questions being asked. This causes ERROR to be killed off at the end of the song, finishing the ERROR storyline.

MIND STUDY INTERLUDE
This skit takes the form of a presentation on different psyches & their outlooks on life, going through EN & His Grandma & their different ways of coping with things. All of a sudden, someone walks In with a gun, shooting up the building & causing everyone to try & flee but only a few survive, the presenter not being one of them.

FOREST LURKER
This track Is told from the perspective of a random guy who was entranced Into the Forest In The Void (Presented in the album cover) And his quickly deteriorating mental state & mass murder spree, Ending with his suicide & a statement from the police department.

FREEDOM FROM SUFFERING
This song is sung from the perspective of the victims of Forest Lurker’s previously mentioned killing spree & them questioning If there’s still anything wrong & If there’s any peace in the afterlife

THE VOID SEEMS SO INVITING
This instrumental track is a representation of the seemingly peaceful nature of the void & how these desires can often be thought of while dozing off, represented by the ever changing stereo of the instrumental

DURING BROADCASTING HOURS
The final track of ‘FOREST IN THE VOID’ & The longest at 10 minutes Is a representation of how the creative process has changed his viewpoint on his issues by calling back to previous tracks. This track also reveals that all the characters in ‘FOREST IN THE VOID’ were figments of his imagination, coping mechanisms made to help him when therapy wasn’t available. In addition, this Is another representation of his talents & how they could help EN’ in the future. The ending is a callback to ‘THE VOID’ and perfectly transitions into it, creating a perfect narrative loop that represents EN’s issues, how he overcomes them & how the cycle continues with a new issue/problem.
