MTV labelled it an "uplifting anthem” and Triple J's Dave Ruby Howe called it "a poppy sugar hit to meet your cravings.” Coles Radio "love the new song!" Since it's release in 2021 the song has reached over 52,000 STREAMS on spotify alone. 

To celebrate the recent success, the band decided to release a catchy remix produced by their talented guitarist Montel. The infectious club banger has a different take on the original and breathes fresh life into the anthemic song which will stick in your head for hours!

Garnering heavy praise from some of Australia’s biggest media, The Engagement deliver indie music with a stadium sound drawing influence from the likes of Bleachers, Coldplay and Bastille. Their songs combine earnest storytelling and big hooky melodies to create their own brand of pop-rock that has gained over one million streams on Spotify. They’ve performed to audiences across Australia, including St.Kilda Festival and Oktoberfest. After recently selling out 4 shows at Melbourne's iconic Luna Park, The Gasometer and Cherry Bar, the band continues to showcase new material at live shows with an upcoming EP on the way.
