RESTE is the alias of Calgary-based producer Nate Bueckert. Blurring the lines between progressive house, techno, and ambient storytelling, RESTE creates deep, textured soundscapes rooted in the liminal space between sleep and wakefulness. Each set is an invitation to drift into the subconscious—a curated journey through hypnotic, delirious states, analog warmth, stress, lush synth lines, and immersive bass. RESTE explores themes of rest, memory, and the weight of the in-between, crafting a soundtrack for moments where time feels suspended, and the night stretches on.

Born in Grenoble, France and inspired by Berlin’s underground—including a pilgrimage to the legendary Berghain—Fantom K brings a European edge to Ottawa’s scene.

His sound blends the hypnotic depth of dark European techno with the groove and movement of tech house, always with a journey-driven flow that keeps the dance floor moving and immersed. Heavy kicks, rolling basslines, and darker atmospheres meet rhythm and presence, creating sets that feel magnetic, untamed, and deeply human.

Formerly known as HeavyK, Fantom K has risen through Ottawa’s underground—playing Escapade afterparties, festivals, and the city’s core venues. With his first original track fully mastered and more on the way, he continues carving out a signature sound rooted in rhythm, emotion, and authenticity.
