Dubfire & Flug join forces for the ‘Magma’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR imprint, landing 27th September 2024. The EP marks SCI+TEC boss and Deep Dish legend Dubfire’s debut on CLR, with Argentinian techno lynchpin Flug returning to the label for the first time since his ‘Sincrodestino’ EP in 2014.

Dubfire & Flug’s ‘Magma’ EP on CLR starts with the title track, which sees crackling dub hits echo up top whilst deep low-end courses beneath its steady groove. ‘Magma’ is a raw and overwhelming force destined for late nights on powerful systems, enthralling dancers with its cavernous drops and frenzied soundscapes. ‘Friction’ then eases us in with whirring, electrifying acid as distant synths inch closer, culminating in a shadowy and hypnotic warehouse cut. With the ‘Magma’ EP, Dubfire and Flug provide us with a set of tracks perfect for peak time, which are guaranteed to create unforgettable high-impact dance floor moments.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like DEAS, Shlomi Aber, Drumcell, Truncate and more while also focussing on developing newer acts in the scene such as B.
