The Jellyfish Lake were founded in 2009, when three guys who liked rock, tired of playing each one his instrument by himself (Francesco the guitar, Nicolò the bass and Federico the drum kit), deiced to join and play together some songs from their favourite authors: Oasis, Strokes, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Blur, Arctic Monkeys and others. But they never do, because they rather give space to their creativity.
When their songs, composed by working on some improvisations, reach a certain completeness, sufficient to define them "songs", they fulfill the line up by introducing a singer and guitar player, Giovanni; ti complete the work, Tommaso's lyrics.
The genre is a mix of many interpretations of rock: from the origins, with the legendary groups of the sixties, to the most recent outcomes, like Interpol, Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, National, Oasis, Libertines. This, and the much that lies between these two temporal borders, is well present in the ear of each component, and each of them participates actively in the composition process, with the result of a synthesis of many kinds of sounds, each one belonging to the same family, classic but not trite, harmonic but not discounted, whose taste is based on listening and whose creation is based on the passion for playing, devote toward the masters but with a creative attitude.
Since the very first songs were ready, the band played live, discovering to love the stage no less than the registration room, feeling comfortable since the beginning and trying to give the audience their enthusiasm with passion, ease and freshness.

I Jellyfish Lake nascono nel 2009, quando tre ragazzi appassionati di rock, stanchi di suonare individualmente ognuno il proprio strumento (Francesco la chitarra, Niccolò il basso e Federico la batteria) decidono di riunirsi e riprodurre insieme alcune canzoni dei loro artisti preferiti: Oasis, Strokes, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Blur, Arctic Monkeys e altri,che non arrivano a suonare per poter dare spazio alla propria creatività.
Quando i loro brani, composti rielaborando alcune improvvisazioni, raggiungono una certa completezza, sufficiente per poter essere definiti canzoni, integrano la formazione con l'inserimento di un cantante e chitarrista, Giovanni; a completamento dell'opera, i testi scritti da Tommaso.
Il genere è una commistione di molte interpretazioni del rock: dalle origini, coi grandi gruppi degli anni '60, alle emanazioni più recenti, gli Interpol, gli Strokes, gli Arctic Monkeys, i National, gli Oasis, i Libertines. Questo, e molto di ciò che sta tra questi estremi capi, è ben presente nell'orecchio di ogni componente, ognuno dei quali partecipa in maniera attiva alle composizioni, così da creare una sintesi di suoni diversi ma della stessa famiglia, classici ma non triti, armonici ma non scontati, il cui gusto è fondato sull'ascolto e la cui creatività è fondata sulla passione per il suonare, devota verso i maestri ma dotata di personalità creativa.
Fin dal completamento dei primi brani, il gruppo ha proposto la propria musica live, scoprendo di amare il palco non meno della sala di registrazione, trovandosi a proprio agio fin dall'inizio e provando a trasmettere al pubblico il proprio entusiasmo con passione, semplicità e freschezza.

Producer & musician Christopher Bivins aka Buddafly Wolf (formerly KE Yano$) has been a student aficionado of music as expressive as he can remember growing up. Having no musical formal training and at an early age, he began to study the piano at age 12 which quickly led to teaching himself theories of  jazz, classical, r&b, gospel and genres in between. It soon led to the curiosity of music production and making beats in the roots of r&b, world music ,synth-wave, funk and soul inspired from artists such as Sade, Herbie Hancock, Q-tip, Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and more. Developing an ear for melody , arranging, and song structure all played apart in the years to follow.

He later went on to build a catalogue of instrumentals on soundcloud while developing as a young musician overtime now with over one million plays and counting on the site. Since then he has produced and co-produced for acts such as Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Kehlani, Bizness Boi and a slew of up and coming buzzing artists such as Tyus,Chika,Rome Flynn,Ye Ali, Awich and more. His music has also caught the attention of OVO’s own Majid Maskati of Majid Jordan with praise. In the ever changing music landscape, Buddafly wolf continues to redefine himself while staying in touch with his core musical root that shall lead his way in projects to come.
