This composition is inspired by the famous Grimm’s fairy tale of the same name. While Stratocasters, synthesizers, and electric bass may not seem the most obvious choice for such a piece, I truly enjoyed bringing it to life.

they clink down unseen shafts
the well returns only cavernous void

That "we find"-a pebble skipped at my core
rippling doubt in widening circles
I press my ear to slick brick
straining for the promise it never breathed

I bend to that moss--rimmed stone

More than the falling snow on Christmas Eve
Coins of my soul dropped in
they sink into silent depths

"Dear Honey

I kneel again at that moss-rimmed mouth
voice trembling as I pour every fractured refrain:
This is my confession, 
my code, my blood in sound

I belt each line like a prayer
spill my marrow into shadowed depths
then wait for the echo's promise

"Dear Bard,
We acknowledge receipt of your composition. 
Regrettably, it falls outside our scope.

"Without You" is a sonic blend of late-night nostalgia and raw emotional pulse.
Driven by a jazz-rock groove, RnB undertones, and '90s synth textures, this track speaks of loss, memory, and resilience.
A haunting female voice floats through the mix—sometimes whispering, sometimes crying out—in fragments like:
"Crazy... feel the life... make me feel the way..."

It's the echo of a love now gone, suspended in the silence that follows.

This is not just a song.
It's a bedroom at midnight.
It's a voice looking back.
It's the absence that shapes presence.

BURN ANOTHER LIE

After visiting Norfolk Island this year (2025), I was moved to write a song about some of its unique aspects of everyday life - the quirky local phone book entries, the priority that cows have over vehicular traffic and the Norfolk Wave - as well as acknowledging the history of the island’s permanent settlement by descendants of HMS Bounty’s mutineers.
