I wrote this song in 2018 while traveling in Australia. I had one of those long nights out where I encountered so many realisations about myself and how I'd been living. 

Someone mentioned in passing 'that if you run away once you'll run all your life' and that just stuck on me. Walking home in the early hours of the morning I came to a railway crossing. Morningside train, it really felt like if I wasn't going to move forward and change, then I might as well be dead already. 

End of line for my old ways. Welcome to Morningside train of change.

In Our Dreams (for clarinet, violoncello and piano)

A bubbling, floating ambient track with soothing harmonies and chime-like sound effects. An occasional bubbly arpeggio bounce gently over layered pads, giving the monotony subtle emotions. Its reduced and sombre demeanour give it a feeling of peace and tranquility

Lingering Moments

This groovy, jazzy semi-acoustic loop consists of a light, dreamy intro and a highly groovy verse.
