Goy Boy McIlroy are a neo-gothic, alt-blues band that create a carnival atmosphere whilst purveying a sinister soundscape of raw drive and industrial ambience. Their energy and unsettling charm draws you ever closer as they relentlessly provide chills and thrills in equal measures. The avant-garde exterior occupies your gaze allowing the music to surround you, knock you off your feet and drag you into the darkened alleyways of your imagination.

An explosive Indie-Blues band from Darlington that lit up the live scene only to fizzle out as a distant memory. 

In their recently uncovered Last Will & Testament the band wanted to leave the good people of the internet a complete collection of their recorded work to be downloaded and enjoyed.

magine an old market town, its Thursday night and the town is alive! And in a shed somewhere, a snare is affixed to the underside of a drum as a guitar undergoes a final tuning. An old market town where nothing goes down but the women. Until now.

1-2-3-4!

Browser played gigs from 2002 to 2005. We wore suits like real musicians, we dropped riffs like Black Sabbath and drummed like The Doors. We wrote songs about the north, about politics, about breaking up. We wrote songs about deadbeats and psychos. We told stories and wrote songs that we hoped would make our town, Darlington, come to life.

Dreams sweet dreams, but we believed in them.

Browser played their last gig in 2005. We had just come back from a festival in Germany and played our send off at the live music Mecca, the Tap and Spile. We went our separate ways. :London, Leeds...Hartlepool.

But now we're back.
