Amsterdam, Netherlands – 27/01/2025 – Italian drum and bass heavyweights Maztek and Merikan are finally dropping their highly anticipated collaboration, “Square”, on Maztek’s label, 0101 Music. Originally produced years ago, the track gained a loyal following, with fans frequently requesting its release.
The idea for the release came after Maztek received yet another fan request for the track and shared it with Merikan. Realizing its continued popularity, the duo decided it was time to share “Square” with the world.

“Square” delivers an explosive fusion of Maztek’s futuristic sound design and Merikan’s dark, high-energy production style. The result is a hard-hitting experience, built for modern drum and bass enthusiasts and guaranteed to get crowds moving with its fun, danceable vibe in pure Italian style.

Reflecting on the release, Maztek said:
"I just sent Merikan a screenshot of a fan asking for the tune again, and we both knew it was time. We made this track years ago, but its energy still resonates today. Fans have been asking for it, and we’re excited to finally share it through 0101 Music."
