Fabienne Grisel grew up in Switzerland surrounded by the music of her father, a trumpet player. She started her songwriting and vocal education at the age of six until, a few years later, she moved to LA to take her career to the next level, at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. During this time she also began studying with world-renowned vocal coach Joel Ewing PhD (Paul McCartney, Don Henley, Steve Perry, Seal...) of whom she still is a respected pupil.

After exploring divers music genres (pop, classical, blues, jazz, rock...)releasing a Solo EP called "Fortress " and playing in various bands,  Fabienne joined award winning LA rock band Neverwonder in 2018. 

Fabienne can also be seen frequently performing with her jazz/pop cover band The Fixtures Duo, as well as doing session work in recording studios all over Southern California. And more recently,  toplining for a new project called Sound Brew. You can contact Fabienne for session rates.

The Fixtures Duo is a cover band that will bring a beautiful romantic atmosphere to any bar, club, lobby, restaurant, or private/corporate event. 

Their style is a perfect blend of jazz standards, neo soul, and attractive mellow versions of popular songs. 

After meeting on a joint musical project Fabienne Grisel (Vocals) and Ido Sasson (Guitar) realized they share a love for similar music and decided to form The Fixtures Duo.

Fabienne grew up in Europe and was introduced to music (jazz) by her father, a trumpet player. Being surrounded by melodies, she started singing at the young age of 7. In the early 90s, she moved to Los Angeles and studied Vocals and Songwriting at Musicians Institute. After exploring different genres of music and playing in various original/cover bands, she released a solo record in 2015 for which she won an award from Songnet (The Independent Songwriter's Network). And in 2017, she became the lead singer of popular LA Rock band Neverwonder. The band won LA Music Critic's  best Alt. rock band in 2019, as well as a spot on the famous Music Connection magazine's "Best 100 Unsigned band of 2019 " list.  She has studied classical vocal technique and pedagogy for the past 20 years.

Ido is a session guitarist and producer with over 15 years of professional experience in both recording and live performance. After completing his degree from Musicians Institute, he toured Europe in conjunction with Redbull and has performed live on TV shows including the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The CBS Morning Show. He has also worked in the studio with many artists such as Sarah Bettens of K's Choice and Adam Cohen (Leonard Cohen's son).

Now, these two accomplished musicians have formed The Fixtures Duo and are ready to play for you!
