During 20 years of mutual acquaintance, atismusic and Zyklus, traveling together in the underground electronic music scene, creating from the beginning, helping the surrounding club life, and enriching the Hungarian line-up with live and DJ sets, always avoided each other in the same circles.
 Within the context of a hobby project, they began creating again as a trio under the name Six Dead Fish, through which they showcased experimental electronics in live performances.
 A couple of years later, while tinkering in atis' studio, they realized that their ideas could be turned into a separate project. Hence The Flat Whites  were born. During their creative brainstorming sessions, futuristic broken beats dominated, ranging from hip-hop through midtempo to the faster drum and bass. Some tunes from their collection can be dark and gritty, while some others can be lighter and brighter, so the beloved listener can always expect variety in genres and moods.

20 év közös ismeretség alatt atismusic és Zyklus, az underground elektronikus zenei mezsgyét közösen bejárva, a kezdetektől alkotva, és segítve a környező klubéletet, Live és DJ szettekkel gazdagítva a magyarországi felhozatalt, mindig ugyanazokban a körökben kerülgették egymást. Aztán egy hobbiprojekt keretén belül hármasban újra alkotni kezdtek Six Dead Fish néven, ahol live actekben tekergettek ki experimentális, kísérleti elektronikát.
 Pár évvel később, miközben atismusic stúdiójában mókoltak, rájöttek, hogy a közös ötleteiket egy külön projektben is érdemes lenne megformázniuk, és így megszületett a The Flat Whites. Kreativ brainstorming sessionjeink alatt a törtütemek domináltak, egészen a hiphoptól, a midtempon keresztül, a drum and bass gyorsabb tempójáig.
