Jon FD (The Focussed Distraction) is a DJ, producer, musician and songwriter. 
For his live performances he's settled on placing himself in the unique position of a one man band with the aid of a looper, guitar and various other electronic effects modules. 
Drawing on eclectic influences like Matthew Dear, Caribou, LCD Soundsystem, Death In Vegas and Aphex Twin, helps him stand out as an utter phenomenon, creating a scenario of enchanting and unique sounds whilst looping melodic and rhythmic layers.

In the past his tracks have received airplay from Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 2), Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6 Introducing), Simon Raymonde (Amazing Radio UK) and Gill Mills (Best of Myspace Podcast).

2 songs in the 2008 Grammy Awards ballot, shows with Nine Inch Nails, Siouxsie & the Banshees e Dita Von Teese, countless tours in USA, UK and Europe, their tracks included in the international TV spots of Hollywood movies such as Minions, Black Panther, The Dark Tower, My Cousin Rachel and Split, collaborations with Sylvia Massy (Tool, J. Cash) and Mike Tacci (Metallica), a single written and recorded with legendary UK film composer Michael Nyman, a track included in the Michael Moore movie Fahrenheit 11/9, Belladonna are the self-proclaimed originators of Rock Noir and are one of the most successful self-produced bands in the world.

Started as a DJ with Vinyls in his Pockets. But the cracking inspiration came with the digital Djing } until he woke up as a bedroom-producer.
And now? He's on the long & nightly search for a cracking place to be. Where Dancers line his way *-)
