Ritualistic expression of motivated suppression, Meer's interpretation of the original seeks a no-nonsense outlet curated by night's terrors.

"Universal Poison is Istigkeit's first EP on his own imprint. For this big first, Istigkeit has decided to unveil some early works which were originally supposed to be out on the label of a fellow artist who unfortunately put it on a hiatus.

The release takes dance music down a dark alley and mostly offers dancefloor-unfriendly beats.
The whole piece can be described as a blend of cold broken techno and industrial music with black/doom metal influences. It is composed with four original tracks and four remixes by Meer, Töria, Halv Drøm and Nigh/T\mare."

FR: Direction vers des terres mystérieuses pour ce premier E.P sur le nouveau label Brestois Chiens Sans Colliers (@csc-records). C'est le trio Horzh, que l'on a pu apercevoir lors du Festival Visions en 2019, qui nous propose un E.P aux influences multiples et au ton résolument industriel. WAH.XXVI nous donne l'impression de cogner nos têtes contre des tuyaux, et les rythmes effrénés nous font divaguer dans de sombres méandres.

EN: Direction to mysterious lands for this first E.P on the new Brest's label, Chiens Sans Colliers (@csc-records). It's the trio, Horzh, that we had the chance to discover at Visions Festival in 2019, that offers an E.P with multiple influences, with an absolutely industrial undertone. WAH.XXVI gives us the impression that we are banging our head against pipes, and the frantic rhythms make us wander in dark meanders.

The label's first release seeks to offer an initiatory experience to Forbidden Teaching's mission, namely to express the inexpressible.

The A side of the record is body oriented and is introduced with NN's "The Blood Of A White Monark", a track characterised by its forceful rhythm, cinematic breakdown and strong synths. Mind I Matter dives deeper in the EBM spectrum with "Thelema", a track featuring a bassline that goes straight to the body and supported by an expertly crafted atmosphere, reminiscent of the notorious esoteric doctrine.

The B side of the record is soul oriented and begins with Antechamber's "The Ephemeral Hallucinations", an atmospheric track that elevates the listener to a place where earthly senses become blurry. Nigh/T\mare concludes the compilation with his track "Unconscious Traction". It features a robust and hypnotic rhythm coupled with an intense atmosphere that leads the listener to a state where deeply buried emotions and desires could resurface.
