The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Gigi Galli. The Italian artist lands on Manchester’s DRØNE with Mind Transmissions, eight tracks of raw, unpolished electronics and techno. Dark, ominous and defiantly old school production techniques,  every track speaks for itself. Today we premiere the killer remix by  of “Sgretolato” by Leipzig's Blac Kolor, who slows it down and comes up with something beautiful, far away from the original source in his own inimitable style. Overall this is a strong release that's not afraid to eschew fashions and speaks from the soul of the artist.

Blush Response presents his latest album: RECONSTITUTION. A forward sonic exploration by Berlin based Cuban-American producer and sound designer Joey Blush.

Reconstitution is the first of two albums written during the pandemic. The album is a sequel to 2016's Reshaper, and it represents another departure in sonic texture for Blush. The seven track selection flows smoothly into the depths of direct-driving future industrial mechanics. Near breakcore speed beats morph into acidic ambient techno anthemics, shifting seamlessly through styles while retaining Blush's signature and ever evolving sound design. What would, could, should embody life in 2022 more than burn-out? Fuel, money, our minds, they all burn in the searing heat of this intense year. But many things that feel intense can also be cleansing, be that fire, personal challenges or music.

This story is told by the next release on Loose Lips, our label’s second vinyl release and first vinyl release put out purely by ourselves. Overcoming all kind of covid-related shipping challenges, we are finally ready to share it with the world!

The EP is by good friend, LL resident and truly innovative producer, Rommek. A raw, cathartic gem for the times of raw-dogging reality - a number of his mind-bending productions showcasing different sides to his journey from 2014-2021, accompanied by a fiery fine-tuned remix by boundary-pushing duo, Lakker.

Rommek’s musical world is wide and varied, as a DJ he plays out everything from Breakbeat to Post-Punk, as a member of the duo Torn Relics he bounces synthetic chaos off the violin lines courtesy of bandmate (and now wife!!!) Aimée Mullen. This release pares all of that back, plunging the listener through smoke and ash and into the abstract. Come now, it is time to acknowledge this wound.

Digital Drvgs is a new dark wave post-punk project formed by Manuel Luquin, a seasoned Producer who has made a name for himself in the electronic dance music scene. Manuel is best known for his work with Cold Blank, where he honed his skills as a producer and remixer, Remixing artists like Zedd, Steve Aoki and Cypress Hill.

With Digital Drvgs, Manuel has turned his attention to a different genre, embracing the sounds of Darkwave/ Post-punk. Joining him in this project are his brother Alvaro Luquin and cousin Alex Luquin (Moon Visions), both of whom bring a wealth of musical talent and creativity to the table.

Together, the trio has crafted a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh, drawing inspiration from classic post-punk bands like Bauhaus and Joy Division while incorporating electronic elements.
