South Florida party people culture rapidly grew into a hub, and sort of a final destination for Florida electronic music fans, during the world wide rave Renaissance of the 1990s. Independent underground promoters & party crews booked at off locations, private party event halls, banquet rooms for corporate events at hotels, warehouses, convention centers, U.S. Armories, abandoned grocery stores, miniature golf/arcade family fun centers, inter-coastal harbors & as well as mainstream clubs in all major cities all around Florida.
By 1999 the Florida's full militarized mobilization & expansion of law enforcement agencies, police departments, task forces set focus on infiltrating & ceasing the ''illegal parties'' during the robocop rampage years of the gang & drug wars, bringing the end of an golden era that naturally de-evolved into mainstream radio rock, pop, & Jiggy rap candy land where corporate beverage & entertainment conglomerates host annual ''music festivals'' & every month of the year & the ticket costs $350, 1/2 of a month's rent =) "

Extended, marks the return of Gianclaudio Hashem Moniri with the moniker of Kaeba. After several years of production under the name of Plaster, Clouds After Rain and his born name as well, Gianclaudio reveal that was time to get back to his first project. Extended is a slow beat Ep, heavy, made of four very (VERY) long tracks, extended indeed, but with a varaiety of sounds inside, which reveal the ability of Gianclaudio to fill the audio spectrum with evolving textures, rymths, effects and mangled sounds, in a manner that makes the tracks continuosly evolving and perceptive interesting.

According to the Artist, while Extended_#02 and Extended_#04 are made from the same modular session, Extended_#01 offers a different approach, still slow beat but with a futuristic and electro aesthetic and the builds up are made for tension moments. On the contrary Extended_#03 has a deep approach, mentally evolving and fill those empty spaces with an hypnotic charm.

Following many visionary outings such like "Inhuman Series Vol 1.2.3.4" released on New Flesh Records in 2012, "Days of Dissent" released on Killekill in 2016 (repress soon) talking about the rebellion of the World and the moving "Abandon In Place" LP released on New Flesh Records in 2018 telling about the destruction of Earth by the Humans, French producer Umwelt presents his very first cinematographic yet conceptual album on his own label New Flesh Records.
Titled "Subversive Territory", this much anticipating opus sees the founder of Rave Or Die imprint exploring a post-apocalyptic world via twelve haunting songs spreading their infectious melodies and gloomy atmosphere throughout.
Don’t expect any beat here as this experimental-ambiant manifesto will dive you into the famous tense and dystopian universe Umwelt is building year after year.
As visual as auditive, this heartbreaking masterpiece comes illustrated by Yann Legendre. This french illustrator and art director is the father of numerous beautiful illustrations for magazines, books in the movie & music industries. He is the brillant creator of great comic "Flesh Empire" edited by Casterman in 2019.
Working on his forthcoming comic "Vega" anounced for 2022 by Albin Michel, Yann Legendre joined Umwelt for this perfect matching of two arts and two artists offering us this esthetic collaboration.
At the end who can say who is illustrating who: the illustrator or the musician?
"Subversive Territory" sounds like the perfect soundtrack of a frightening and not-too-distant future where humanity has collapsed!

Tóxico and Subject To Restrictions Discs present a retrospective on Switzerland's hidden analogue gear scene from 2017 and 2018. A vibrant yet undocumented chapter in the country's music history. The 10 tracks, originally released exclusively on cassette and heard only by a small circle of listeners, are now compiled for the first time on vinyl as “Tóxico Tapes”. The collection captures the scene's raw, hands-on energy through off-kilter rhythms, low-key EBM, ominous wave and free-form synth excursions.

Founded and curated by the former DJ and producer Narco Marco, the Tóxico label became a hub for Switzerland's analogue gear enthusiasts. Between 2016 and 2020, it released a series of 10 tapes – albums and compilations – that now stand as a blueprint of the DIY, machine-driven underground of the time. Narco Marco is a key figure in Swiss electronic music. As a long-time clerk at “Oldiesshop” record store in Bern, he has championed eclectic sounds across decades. His in-depth knowledge of 1980s music, combined with his work as a musician, avid record collector, and founder of the “Hot Jam” label, influenced an entire generation of musicians and DJs in Switzerland at the time.

Subject To Restrictions Discs joins forces with Narco Marco to present a selected set of 10 songs as a tribute to Tóxico and this creative era. The material draws primarily from the Autumn Tape and Winter Tape compilations, which spotlighted artists from Zurich and Bern – two cities at the heart of this analogue revival.
