“Daevas”, meaning divinities of chaos and disorder in the Zoroastrian faith, is the combined effort of SARIN x SCARLIT PORT recorded in Berlin during the lockdown of 2020. 

The six track 30 minute EP is a winding journey that dives into both artists’ shared Persian heritage by referencing ancient pagan Gods, mysticism and the more recent tragic histories of colonialism, dictatorships, longing and a sense of being uprooted. 

These unwinding stories and artefacts are imprinted within a dark cascade of sounds incorporating and combining each artist’s influences to create a total work that encompasses elements of techno body music, acid, industrial and the subtle application of more traditional Persian musical forms.

Tbilisi's KHIDI announces a series of three VA EPs with tracks from its residents and artists closely affiliated with the club, which will be released over the course of summer and autumn on KHIDI's label. Today we present the enigmatic electro heater "No Esperes Más" from the first EP of the series.

The first compilation  "A minute of music quelled a whole life of noise"  will be released on July 26th and features tracks from James Ruskin, Tensal, Yanamaste and Phase Fatale & Reka. The second EP "Two thorns together, a hundred tears apart"  is out in September with tracks from club's close friend Silent Servant and three track collabs between the club residents Ancient Methods & OTHR, Unhuman & Vulkanski and Roman & Boyd Schidt. Last but not least, the final EP "Music is like fire, without it, sheer darkness and cold" will be released in October with tracks from Matrixxman vs Espen Lauritzen, Inigo Kennedy, Deano and club resident Christoph Faust.

Marking its 50th release, Skryptöm records’ label head, Electric Rescue, has invited a list of exceptional artists that have inspired and shaped the label’s sound since day one, to contribute to this anniversary compilation. With this project, Electric Rescue aims to cover all aspects of techno as expressed by the early pioneers like Scan X to the new generation’s talent like K.U.S.S. 

Gathering Generations represents all the sounds that someone could listen to on Skryptom since its first release, from Deep to Banging Techno, from Ambient to Electro. Rrose, Umwelt, Amotik, Anechoic are some of the artists who took on remix duties on tracks taken from Electric Rescue’s recent Esquisse du Nouveau Monde album while this fantastic package gets completed with five special collaborations by Electric Rescue with Zadig, Scan X, Joton, Dyspal, and K.U.S.S.
