The Forgotten CCXVI: The Undertaker's Tapes

We are excited to present to you Duplicity 034, featuring an hour of groove laden and chunky percussive techno from Glasgow based @bmodular! The young Glasgow based artist has been refining his sound over the past years. The move to UK, from Italy, exposed the artist to a new sonic palette, which influenced his sound design, resulting in a unique fusion of styles of techno. The Italian artist consciously features elements from contrasting music scenes achieving notable results which may fit several environments, but are engineered for the dance floor.

As usual, turn up the volume and enjoy.

A new mix is online and this time is from Zariush, Polish DJ, promoter and artistic manager of the well known Projekt LAB club based in Poznan. In his sets, he combines techno with industrial sounds, guitar riffs and pure EBM songs. Over his 10 years on stage, he has co-organized countless amounts of techno events in his hometown. Also, Zariush is collaborating with Melania from three years on a new event project "VERZERRUNG". This event series is probably the biggest regular show with EBM / industrial techno sounds in Poland, bringing such acts as Phase Fatale, Terence Fixmer, Schwefelgelb, Sarin, Imperial Black Unit, Operant among others. Besides Polish clubs and festivals, you could hear him in Berlin's Suicide Circus, Urban Spree or Dimensions Festival in Croatia.

Founder of Buraco, a label and mix series which has risen to prominence in 2020, User's mix focuses on deep analog beats, heavy noisy layers and industrial kicks surrounded by despotic vocals. His music approaches the political environment on Electronic Body Music which can be currently heard among many brilliant Latin American producers as well as throwing clear reference to 80s and 90s sounding inspirations.

Little remains to be told about Esplendor Geométrico, pioneers of the most  transgressive industrial music who have been active for 40 years and who have influenced countless bands and artists with their harsh, raw, and hypnotic sound. Necrosis En La Poya was their first single, released in 1981, and now this live version is being published on Industrial Complexx in their first vinyl release. The V.A also features great artists such as Max Durante, SOJ, L/F/D/M and Group.
