"That's a '72 Fleetwood Brougham Cadillac that my grandfather owned, bought it brand new. Mr. Hence was first class. We called it the bus cause it use to fit the whole basketball team in it lol. "...Still Comin' Real" by Memphis rapper Shawty Pimp. A quite hard-to-find underground hip-hop cassette from 1995. Now available from Gyptology Records in nice translucent purple shells. Mid 90's was a golden time for hip-hop when there was so much being produced that for one person to listen to everything was impossible. A bit like 1979 was for Disco music.

Label leader Anubis Le Jackal (long time Luxor resident; known locally as 'THE man of the people') promises plenty more unimaginable golden treasures to come on his new Gyptology imprint, as he attempts to preserve infinitely sound recordings that could be at risk of fading into the mists of time without expedient intervention. These kinds of sound recordings were typically 'of the time' or 'in the moment', and thus never could be re-created with the same 'vibe' or 'verve' as those original captures.
