Hot off the back of winning Olympus's Europe-wide Music Open competition indie pop singer Matt Muré and his formidable band of three release their debut single 'Give Me The Fear'.

The Hertfordshire born musician teamed up with local producer Steve Sears Jr, (Gallows / Kids in Glass Houses) to mix the debut effort. The single which features B-side 'Not Alone' is co-produced by the artist and his band and mastered by Pete Maher (Lana Del Ray / The Killers).

Their exciting live performance has seen them support Carl Barat, Chasing Grace, Misty Miller and The Delta Riggs. Time Out hailed them as "Anthemic" whilst NME's Mark Beaumont described their sound as "seductively melodic rock'n'roll".

Earlier this year the band took to the main stage at Frankfurt's Musikmesse after attracting the attention of the Olympus Music-Open Europe-wide competition which saw the band selected by PRS for Music UK and featured in Les Inrocks (France) and Sound & Recording (Germany).

The Front were formed in the Olympic summer of 2012 with the aim of reigniting the scene and producing a down-to-earth brand of music that the everyday Londoner can relate to.

Drawing influences from sixties rock n roll, old school Punk plus eighties Ska, and then adding their own Modern twist to proceedings, the Front have created an instantly-recognisable and distinct sound which has seen them build-up a fanatical and ever-expanding army of followers.

Spearheaded by charismatic singer-songwriter Lee Poole and his brother Sean on the bass, the four-piece is completed by lead guitarist Chris Normann and drummer Reece Bradbury; these South London upstarts have something to say, are standing up to be counted and are going down a storm wherever they play.

Their rawness, charm, energy and on-stage presence has seen the Front play a series of high-profile shows at a number of leading London venues like the Brixton Jamm, the Rhythm Factory and Water Rats, culminating in weekend headline residencies at the prestigious Camden Barfly and at the Underbelly in Hoxton Square.

The Front made their eagerly-awaited Festival debut at Camden Rocks in June performing in front of capacity crowds at the Monarch and then at the Wheelbarrow. They launched their hugely-anticipated debut EP at a packed headline show at the Camden Barfly on Friday July 12th.

We are a four-piece Alternative Rock band from Hertfordshire and now Nottingham since moving there to study.

 In the summer of 2014, we recorded our first EP "Early Days". Since then we have performed our original material at many local venues and festivals across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, London and the South East. We love writing and performing and creating a style that we hope is unique and exciting.
Inspired by influences such as the Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the strokes and the Kooks, to name just a few, we aim to create a fusion of raw and upbeat music with strong melodic hooks.

From the raw energy of Mind the Gap to the melodic tenderness of Vienna and the catchy hooks of Early Days we hope to create songs that have an identity of their own.
