Old Boys And Precious Stories

The Front were formed in the Olympic summer of 2012 with the aim of reigniting the scene and producing a down-to-earth brand of music that the everyday Londoner can relate to.

Drawing influences from sixties rock n roll, old school Punk plus eighties Ska, and then adding their own Modern twist to proceedings, the Front have created an instantly-recognisable and distinct sound which has seen them build-up a fanatical and ever-expanding army of followers.

Spearheaded by charismatic singer-songwriter Lee Poole and his brother Sean on the bass, the four-piece is completed by lead guitarist Chris Normann and drummer Reece Bradbury; these South London upstarts have something to say, are standing up to be counted and are going down a storm wherever they play.

Their rawness, charm, energy and on-stage presence has seen the Front play a series of high-profile shows at a number of leading London venues like the Brixton Jamm, the Rhythm Factory and Water Rats, culminating in weekend headline residencies at the prestigious Camden Barfly and at the Underbelly in Hoxton Square.

The Front made their eagerly-awaited Festival debut at Camden Rocks in June performing in front of capacity crowds at the Monarch and then at the Wheelbarrow. They launched their hugely-anticipated debut EP at a packed headline show at the Camden Barfly on Friday July 12th.
