Here's the recording of my sunrise set at the Atlantis stage during Bucht der Träumer. I want to give a big shout-out to all the incredible dancers and my dear friends who endured the scorching sun with me. I'll be upfront – this isn't my smoothest set. You might notice some quirky transitions starting right somewhere in the middle when the sun came out and suddenly blinded me. But you know what? It was a truly special day, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
Facing that relentless sun without any shades, struggling to see the CDJ screens and mixer, and sweating like crazy while trying not to faint. And mind you dealing with major sleep deprivation – it was quite a challenge, but also a hilarious adventure, depends on how you look at it ;) 
Anyway, here's the recording, and I hope you can still enjoy it. 
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the festival for inviting me and providing such an exceptional experience. This has definitely been the highlight of all the festivals I've been a part of this summer. Sending you all much love.

Bespoke Musik Founder Rocky recorded a set at his new Residency, providing the downtempo, loungey soundtrack for the gorgeous tán Restaurant's speakeasy lounge, lúm. The 3 hours of groovy, swingy vibes in this mix were inspired by Tulum organic / melodic house, Latin house, Afro house, deep house, some disco flavors, and a bit of indie dance. A melting pot, if you will. 🖤

Join us at lúm, every Friday and Saturday evening : 9pm - 1am with Rocky and Friends. Tucked away with covered, cave-like ceilings, warm candlelight, and over 200 types of mezcal and tequila, lúm boasts a worldly beverage program focused on agave-centric cocktails that erase the usual borders between a kitchen and bar.

The modernist, seafood-focused menu by renowned Chefs Richard Sandoval and Jonatán Gómez Luna Torres features coastal Mexican fare with rebellious and bold flavors that were inspired by their travels and heritage.

Every year, with the exception of 2020 for reasons we all know, I've been attending this incredible party. Each time, it leaves me feeling revitalized, brimming with energy, creativity, and motivation. The sheer talent present, both onstage and offstage at Katerblau, is astounding. Being invited back each year by my dear friend @mira_kater is an immense privilege and honor. 
These birthday celebrations go beyond mere social events - they are pivotal gatherings where artists converge, creating a fertile ground for collaboration and artistic exchange. This part is super important – it really ramps up how we all connect through art and expression, helping everyone's creativity shine, both solo and as a group. I'm especially grateful to Mira for orchestrating such a significant event around her birthdays <3 
This year, I had the honor of wrapping up the Heinz Hopper stage on Monday afternoon. My set began at 8:30 am, following the electrifying performance of @pauli-pocket and @sheila_wn. Although scheduled to conclude at noon, the energy was so infectious that I played until 2:30 pm. A highlight was playing back-to-back with @matildoutz-paris, an artist whose work I frequently admire. Initially, it was a group back-to-back session alongside Matilda, my good friend @shimon-earthly, and his music partner @farrylive. But in the last hour, it was just Matilda and me, creating an exhilarating atmosphere. Despite the fatigue from my travels, we were lost in the music, dancing, and feeding off the crowd's energy.
So, without further ado, here's the recording of that set. Bonus points to anyone who can guess first where the b2b session starts! ;)

▌I How would you describe your style?
Eclectic storytelling with a cosmic sensual journey grooving on the deeper along of the sonic spectrum

▌II Which tracks marks a highlight in your set?
The music of late Daniel Zuur aka KRAUT, IV-IN and Jacob Groening really needs to be heard by more people.

Daniel was a brother and inspiration in the realm of organic and downtempo music before the genre ever had a name and was bundled all into "deep house". He tragically passed away this summer in July 2023 (drowning in a lake in Amsterdam) but left behind his posthumous debut Genesis: Seed of Life--tuned to 432 Hz--as a healing and grounding gift

IV-IN really gets me, as we share very similar musical backgrounds, he gets sexy psychedelic rock & indie and those baritone vocals: totally what I'm about and what shaped my style. 

Then there is one of my favourite producers of the electronic genre: Jacob Groening, an absolutely incredible musician and emotional storyteller who just released his debut LP Timefades on his imprint Kamai Music. There are so many gems on it, but the groove on "Traces" just floors me and blisses me out simultaneously.

My favourite storytellers: Heimlich Knüller, DADADISCO, Magician on Duty, Leggy BLOND, Just Emma, Madmotormiquel

And my favourite soundmakers: Viken Arman, iorie / Anna Almani, Nhii, Niconé and Dirty Doering, Elfenberg

I also have to make a special mention of the Bridges for Music Academy, whom I support wherever I can. It is an inspirational organization grown from a beautiful idea 10 years ago and changed the lives of many marginalized people in Langa, Cape Town. One of their rising talents, Sakhe the Conqueror is also featured here (remixed by a couple of Berlin legends I consider a huge inspiration ;-D) and to be released on BFM Records (the Lange grown label run by Athie Umgido one of the first alumni of the Academy)
