Around two years ago (in June 2011 to be precise), Cabana Recordings blessed us with the unmixed "From the Hut (Volume 1)" compilation, now the time has come for the second volume to see the light of the day. Similar to the inaugural release in the series, an impressive line-up of artists is featured: label head Justin Imperiale, Punchuashen featuring Laila Davids, Soulprovider & RootedSoul, Griffith Malo, Leoesco, Native Khalif & Donald Sheffey and Deuce Concept to name only a few. The compilation is loaded with deep and soulful music from around the globe and features previously unreleased mixes of former releases as well as brand new productions. vocal chant that unfolds its power in the deepness of the synth melody with additional folk samples. Just Emma‘s remix lowers the tempo of the original

adding their magnificant crunchy baseline and flavoring the melody with groaning synth sounds that make the track more and more hypnotical in the course

implementing these engrossing chants to have a start to finish winning. The second remix comes from Dutch producer El Mundo who adds an Iberian touch to the

track by bringing in a Mediterranian guitar that points out the confidence. Birds of Mind‘s second tune ‘Palang Kuh‘ completes the EP with a synth-driven

downtempo vibe with arps flying around like boomerangs cutting the air.

Antrea: Could be the name of a planet from a Sci-Fi movie. A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

The afternoon sun was in the window now and the room was too wann. The young man washed and put on his clothes and went down to walk on the beach. In the cafe he found the paper and ordered himself a fine a l'eau because he felt empty and hollow from making love. The music in the cafe was gorgeous. Dreamy and gentle, a mixture of Electronica, Downtempo and some lovely world sounds all over it. He felt calm and in love, he wanted to travel again. “What's playing right now?” he asked curiously a beautiful waitress. “The new Shango Records single sir. Two tracks by Jose Solano and some gorgeous remixes by AmuAmu, Gulivert and Mikado Koko”. That was it. He was so happy and peaceful with this, he fell in love again, start living with the beauty of this music....

The discription should be: “The Smooth Gardens” is a sensual and groovy track from the brother duo @parallellsofficial and @abundance-live in which they combine many instruments and organic sounds to Thomas from @parallellsofficial' crooner voice.

The EP refers to The Gardens of Babylon movement in Amsterdam, who redefined the music and event experience. It is a family where all of the EP’s artists are part of.

The inspiration also came during Amsterdam Dance Event. A week filled with musical influences. In that sense, The Smooth Gardens is a hymn to dance, where the smooth groove of the track is slowly reaching parts of your body and is leading them to move, sway and dance.

The EP includes two powerful remixes. The first one is from the couple duo @kmln-berlin bringing a rhythmical edge to it. The second one is from @noraj-cue and @undersmusic bringing a powerful clubby vibe. No doubt both versions will shake the dance floors!
