I'm more than happy to share the recording @kater_blau from legendary annual birthday party of @mira_kater. Why is it special for me? Why is it special for everyone?

This weekend is truly an imprint of a culture that's not easy to discover these days, beautiful and kind people only, not to mention the perfectly curated lineup of all floors, hidden rooms and secret corners of this adult playground called Kater. It feels like a community where members do not necessarily know each other, but everyone knows that there is some invisible bond between them. Rare.

In this approx. 3 hours you'll find actual favs, a lot upcoming on @complaintkulture and of course a bunch of tunes I can't stop playing and got totally engaged to. 

Thank you Mira and Kater, it meant the world this time

The living legend and timeless woman Mira - constantly and intentionally supporting diverse talent and bringing wonderful people together from all around the world every year for her birthday celebration - aka the best party ever!  This year I had the responsibility to set the tone for her traditional Sunday noon set and hand over the decks to the one and only birthday queen.  Kater Blau is as I always say one of my favorite playgrounds where I have always felt more freedom to play those tracks you don't dare to play anywhere else and always a pretty appreciative crowd - open to hear the story - accompanied with a great sound system. I hope you enjoy my set. Ps: I love you Mira, grateful to call you my friend and happy birthday!

Next level birthday celebrations! Thanks to my dear friend Mira for curating and hosting such an amazing event <3 I had the honor to open the festive journey in the Hopper floor at Kater in Berlin.

Opening track ‘1977’ unfolds like a widescreen dreamscape, with suspended fields of synths arcing over a warmly booming, long-tailed sub-bass. Heaving synth sweeps, melodically intricate arpeggios, and fluttering square waves paint a morphing, hypnotic canvas that floats across the periphery. Deeply meditative, but suited for the almost-peak-time with a throbbing groove and dynamic sub-bass, 1977 is a slow-burning journey that wraps warmly arcing, spaced out melodics around a tight rhythmic core.

Today we are so happy to finally share with all of you this great gift from our friend L.Ø.C., George. Carefully crafted, this podcast is a story from beginning to an end. Inspired in our beautiful Gardens. 

L.Ø.C. came to us with an open heart and traveled all the way from Beirut to Istanbul to meet us personally. Luckily for us, he is also a great talented hang drummer and we couldn't resist to ask him to play a pre-meditation hang drum session for our show in Klein.
