I'm happy to finally release my first extended set with you, recorded at StereoBar in Montreal. StereoBar is a club that's quickly jumped onto my shortlist of favorite venues in the world. Beyond the nailing the club fundamentals (sound system, layout, lighting, staff), they feature the "All Night" series where one DJ plays as opener, headliner, and closer. I love this format since it gives me the opportunity to build the energy from scratch and take the night in any direction without constraints.

But more importantly, I get to play for one of the most enthusiastic, supportive crowds that I've ever encountered. The energy from this night was the strongest I've felt in quite some time, certainly my best gig of the last year. Almost everything I threw out there worked, which actually makes me think that I might not have worked hard enough. There are many more sonic landscapes I'd love to explore, so hopefully I can come back again soon and we can take another journey in that special room...

We were feeling very spent, tired, dusty and freezing, but powered through the transition from night until dawn and once the sun broke through, it brought warmth to our bones and it turned into very special morning indeed...

Here's the recording for my DJ set from July 2nd, 2017 at the Katerblau Kiosk, hands down my favorite place to play music in Berlin.  The whole venue is a wonderland of discovery, the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, and I don't think I've played for a more open minded crowd in all of Europe. Longer sets allows you to take your time and be patient with the music, and the mixing.  The slow building journey I had imagined in my mind, was possible to make a reality, and extra time allowed me to experiment as well. This was probably my favorite gig of my entire 2 month Summer Sol Europe Tour. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I had creating it in the Kiosk.  Thanks to Mira, Britta, Martin, Claudia, Joyce, David, Brett, Toto, Sylvie, Dorin, any other friends I may have forgotten who were there, and especially to all you lovely dancers who joined me on this ride. Mira - Robot Heart 10 Year Anniversary - Burning Man 2017

And so it begins...

We are happy to finally share the first set in the series of The Seekers of Light. It was our first year anniversary at our first year of Amsterdam Dance Event. 

And after a year of running on a fast track we turned our event venue De WesterUnie from 800 to 2500 people. With three rooms, twenty artists and an endless amount of dream.

Sleepless nights and early mornings our family gave everything during the production to create a warm and beautiful energy to welcome our guests and future family. The artists were divine. Performances like we never experienced before.

We are over the moon to start this series with our beloved duo Britta Unders. As they are in our family from the start they could not miss out on this showcase. With the soft melodic sounds of Unders and a strong Kater character of Britta you are always surprised by their next move.. Their set and performance means the world to us. They are friends. They are family. And as we are writing these words, we remember the interaction with the crowd. Priceless and filled with love.

It also allowed me to meet the fantastic crew of Umbrella Lounge, thank you for your energy !

The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive.
