Got in my head that I wanted to play something with a little staccato and this is what came out. Also thought it would be a good idea to do all four seasons and recruited three pianists to complete the cycle. Delighted that Debra Buesking agreed to take on summer and here is a link to her wonderful interpretation:

I spent seventeen long winters in Stockholm. Funnily enough the most challenging season to me was always spring with all the false starts and long hiatuses. By the time it’s May and you can reasonably expect some warmish weather (defined as over 50F) it inevitably snows and destroys your planned weekend bike ride, or maybe you just have to keep your down jacket in the closet a few more weeks and leave your lighter clothes at the back of the closet. Of course, spring is the beginning of a period of more fun and games. Hopefully you can hear the pull between spring trying to break through and winter lingering on in this music.

This is a performance with no post recording edits. It is entirely in Gm except for 1 note intended to denote a dissonant interruption. I wonder who can locate that B.

This set of SWWs was written in memory of a wonderful singer, teacher and friend, Diana Walkley. My idea in this first piece was to craft a tune that would have sounded best sung by Diana: warm and rich. Though I was thinking of Sea Pictures, there are no direct quotes; the sense of loss is clear at times

Salut cher réseaux sociaux, avant les fêtes je tenais a t'offrir une belle critique, j'espère que tu l'aimeras et l'entendras.

Mesdames, Damoiseau, Messieurs, Demoiselles et autres Gueux (ce sont mes préférés) 
J'ai l'immense bonheur de vous présenter "Cool is Watching You" !!
Le Nouvel EP de M'Z - la version "concept en musique" de mes travaux de composition.
C'est une critique du cool social par le cool musical...

Dans cet album je m'exerce à adopter un positionnement musical "cool" et souhaite mettre en perspective les limites de cette 'posture', qu'on s'impose, socialement nous même, plus ou moins volontairement et que les réseaux sociaux favorisent largement. 
Posture qui, semble bien plus nous nuire que nous servir. 
"Cool is Watching You" est aussi un point de rencontre en musique entre Orwell et Huxley qui espère guérir le cool par le cool.

7 morceaux que je définirai plus en détails avec des mots dans les jours à suivre, pour favoriser la transe, en attendant je vous laisse le découvrir en sons avec les seuls gros titres comme pistes.
