Axwell’s progressive house anthem ‘Center of the Universe’ has been broken down, reworked and revamped into an even grander electro-house remix by up and coming Polish DJ/producer Blinders. Officially released on Axtone on the 14th of October, this remix of ‘Center of the Universe' is ready to become a classic.

This remix has ramped everything up into an even more anthemic piece of big room electro-house with harder kicks, uncompromising electro synths, and bigger build-ups, leaving space for the reworked vocals of Swedish singer Magnus Carlsson to ring through.

The new remix was originally a re-edit sent to the label as a demo that is now being released in it’s own right - A clear indication that Axtone do check through their submissions to find genuine talent!

'Center Of The Universe' works on the classic anthemic progressive house sound that Axwell and his label have made their own and was released on Axtone earlier this year - an acclaimed track also used in Carlsberg’s ‘Where’s The Party?' campaign.

In spite of his young age, Mateusz Owsiak, better known as Blinders, has already progressed leaps and bounds in the industry and received support from Dirty South, Alesso, Dimitri Vegas, Sebastien Drums and many more. Blinders initially gained popularity after making a remix for Dirty South and Thomas Gold - “Alive”, which climbed to the top of the Beatport Chart. His musical talent is clear as he already has an eclectic collection of tracks and remixes under his belt - ranging from a Drumstep remix of Katy Perry to an acoustic piano cover of Whitney Houston.

Diplo aims for the clouds with "Revolution," allowing Kai's vocal delivery to soar above the stadium trap instrumental. "Crown" lets loose one of the hardest drops of Diplo's career only to have him pull it back in with Mike Posner's light hearted vocals. The EP is rounded out with "Rock Steady", an homage to old school hip hop featuring verses from Action Bronson, Mr MFN esquire and Mad Decent's own RiFF RAFF. The Path to Cognition EP – “The Village” describes René's time in the countryside. With soft pad sounds and a smooth bass René invites you to a travel back through time to his youth. You can literally feel the big forests, blue lakes and calm village life. Beneath that, the light use of exotic instruments reveals the itchy feet René had back in those days.

Robin Schulz created an amazing remix which also discloses his completely different feeling about village life. He removed all pad sounds, reworked many elements and added a vocal to specify his message: he loves the calm life in the village & enjoys the beauty of loneliness. Maybe because these days he’s on tour and playing in cities all over the world.

The I am Frost project – The idea was to create a project that goes beyond the boundaries of music. I am Frost combines music, video and words into a multimedia work of art that appeals to the ears, the eyes and the mind in equal measure. “The Path to Cognition EP” is accompanied by a corresponding live and visual show and a short story. The second chapter awaits in summer 2014.

Vergissmeinnicht – is a globally active artist collective with bases in Peru, Germany & Switzerland. With a party series in Peru and Zurich providing a strong basis, Vergissmeinnicht cemented its legendary status after organizing the Görlitzer Park open air party of 1 May 2011. The idea behind Vergissmeinnicht is to provide a platform for like-minded artists for trans-border cultural exchange and to help each other with promotion, advice, contacts and music production.
