“Blasted” sets the pace here with crisp beats and a deep bassline which move nicely alongside the vocodered vocal line and spoken word section.  There’s an eerie feel throughout this one, especially at the halfway point where some heavier synth work and breakbeats give us some mid-section madness.

Bringing up the rear is “Retromus” which raises the energy level with a bouncier feel to the beats, an eastern-flavoured hook, and some great cut up vocals.  This is Colombo in party mode, and definitely one for peak time sets.

Labrat is a classic of the scene and Aquasky and Mampi Swift went onto to remix it in 2006 (PASA030). Still going strong today, Backdraft is one of our favorite producers.
