Abstract Truth - (We Had) A Thing (The God Note Remix)

The concept of The God Note began over 20 years ago when I had begun compiling the ultimate playlist of songs, mainly within the genres of neo-soul, r&b, jazz, hip-hop, rap, funk & deep house. I dubbed the mix: "The God Note". It was meant to represent songs that were so perfect in their execution, that they were tapping into god's wavelength & producing something exceptional.

In late 2024, The God Note was born proper, now serving as a vehicle to provide original remixes to those very same songs that I once deemed to be 'godly'. The on-going focus is on re-interpreting deep album cuts & some recognisable singles, mainly sticking to the above-mentioned genres of music.

Any donations towards the cause will go straight into operating costs to produce more remixes, at a higher quality, & more often. But most of all, this was done for the love of the music, and to help shine a brighter light onto songs that deserve a resurgence of love in the modern age.
