Up next to the series is south-London based artist DJ Excel, giving us just under an hour of sexy hard bass riddims.

Dj Excel is a south-London based DJ and producer exploring percussive slub sounds and cultural intersections. Their upcoming debut EP, 21st Century Techno Preacher, is due out on Manchester’s Mute Artefact later this year, inspired about information anxiety and doomed-thinking about the future. Previously, DJ Excel has had productions played on the mighty Object Blue and DJ Pitch’s NTS radio shows. 

Not only are they killing it with their productions but DJ Excel is also a part of the SODAA community, helping to develop a decentralised governance model for an experimental music & arts venue in London. Be sure to check that out while listening to the mix.
