“Flippin” or ‘Flipping Bags’ are street slang for selling heroin, a significant problem in communities throughout the USA. 

Among the hardest hit are Native American communities with the Mashpee Wampanoag having the highest per capita rate of deaths due to opioid overdoses. 

FLIPPIN' is part of an anti-opioid campaign launched in the Mashpee Wampanoag community, one of the hardest hit communities. Soul Poet's Syndicate is a spoken-word, hip-hop and media arts collective. This track features founding members, Young $umo, The ZYG and a guest appearance by JJ Nice.

The GroovaLottos are a powerhouse soul-funk-blues band comprised of award-winning veteran studio session and touring players and singers; said to play with their souls instead of their hands. A high energy band on a mission to unlock the spirit and the soul; and growing up mentored by and playing for a who's who of classic soul, funk and blues legends, these journeymen are keepers of a musical tradition and legacy, rich with storytelling and infectious grooves. Incredible music and wild senses of humor make them one of the most entertaining bands around. The GroovaLottos are Eddie Ray Johnson, drums & vocals; Mwalim DaPhunkee Professor, keys and vocals; and Richard Johnson, bass. By 17, Eddie Ray was on a three year national tour, playing for the likes of Rufus Thomas and Wilson Pickett. At 13, Mwalim had played Carnegie Hall and at 16 was one of the youngest session players in EMI history. By 15, Richard had played Carnegie Hall and was a much sought after bass player for projects ranging from classical to gospel and jazz.
