Here's the live recording of my breakfast set from the 2B1 gathering out in the middle of the Mojave Desert, CA. The hot sun was shining over this set from 8am-11:30am. Hope you feel some of the desert vibes from that very special morning.

Born into a mid 80s cultural landscape suffused with the gentle angst of 'The Breakfast Club', Clarian grew up in Montreal and began recording and composing as a teenager when suburban kids were falling asleep to Radiohead's 'The Bends'. With this musical heritage Clarian formed his musical being in his early and late teens. His style went down particularly well with renowned labels like Visionquest and Life And Death.

Lane 8 Spring 2016 Mixtape

Listen to the Sounds of the Jungle by Stone-Age Citizens and prepare yourself for an otherworldly experience as we take over the 2 greatest cities in South Africa on the 19th of March in JHB, and the 20th of March in CPT.

Stone-Age Citizens are a boutique disco duo shaped by the sounds of indie rock to techno and disco. These influences are clear in the duo’s sets as they aim to keep a balance between approachable and intricate. 

The Stone-age Citizens’ solid understanding of the natural progression of music at a party has resulted in their being the favourites to warm up any dancefloor. Part of this understanding comes from hosting their own parties and playing at a multitude of different events around the country. Their honest performances are always marked by an enjoyable mix of professionalism and energy.

MoM, DJ based out the Andalusia’s city of Cordoba.

His first experiences with mixing tables was back in

1989 when he was attracted by acid house music and

the latest pieces on funky and disco music. His first

professional experience at a DJ booth was around

techno music at clubs like Teiker and Plató, two of the

most renowned clubs in Cordoba.

In 1993 is when he started to listen to the first deep

records through WORKS music label. During this

period is when he met a DJ with more experience,

Miguel Martín who introduced him to the richness and

depth of electronic music. The Spanish music label

CONTRASEÑA was still publishing the latest records of

electronic guitar but it also had a special connection

with the dance floors through their depth.

Miguel’s influence on MoM was such, that even years

after Miguel’s death in 2009, he created a radio show

called “mut&mut” along with the speaker Jesús

Zamora. The name of the show was a tribute to “MUT”

the name of the only maxi-single published by Miguel

Martín.

MoM ́s experience and creativity allowed him to take

on a new professional challenge: leading Pep ́s

Records marketing department in Madrid.

After a few years of working and achieving good

results he decides to create Carta de Ajuste

Comunicación ,his own Management and Marketing

agency. During this period he performed sessions in

Córdoba, Sevilla, Tarifa, Caños de Meca, Marbella,

Madrid, along with various cities around Spain.

His sessions are mainly based on house and tech-
house but in 2009 he rediscovers his passion for deep

music and starts exploring with darker sounds and

slower speeds.

This is where his Chic ́n ́deep sessions were born, full

of depth, slowing down to even 120 BPM.

EXZ doesn´t leave time to even blink, he enters with a force that provides a potent and encompassing atmosphere. Experimental sounds that create a new world.
