It’s been over two decades since the original release of ‘Respect’ but this evergreen track still sounds as current as ever. John Robinson provides uplifting production, the former NYC radio DJ who was behind some huge house records in the 90s with co-production coming from Carlton Carter on the keys, laying down those memorable riffs. We're big fans of Lovers and their last Grand St. Blues EP on NYC's Let's Play House was an absolute beauty that we rinsed real hard over here. The boys are back with a brand new self released Electric Drama EP and the record takes influences from seedy pornos, disco’s crossover period in the late 70s, Marshal McLuhan, and Italo house of the late 80s.
