I wrote this song about a holiday in the summer of '83, the words really sum up the memories, my kid sister had this beloved ball that she took everywhere with her, and then good old Billy Ray here lost it to the tide. Not sure she's actually forgiven me yet lol. Greetings to all, many thanks indeed to everyone supporting us, much appreciated as always! This is probably the nearest I will ever get to creating a Christmas Song. The orchestral idea came first and then the lyrics and vocal performance.

After a year of doing quite a few instrumental tracks, it's nice to end the year with a song as lyric writing is still important to me. The words keep coming out of the 'ether' so I keep writing them down.
